It's like they were drinking with Fosco last night.

that's funny—my buddy who we were partying with's GF was actually female doging about not being "engaged" the entire (frank)ing night

I think moving the puck quickly like they have been is far more effective than speed.

I'm of the belief that it's been a combination of both. TB's transition game has been quick, but so has the rush. Vancouver can't keep up right now.

sorry, just always hated that (frank)er and don't think he's that good.

SJ fans over on HF we're laughing at a proposal of Gardiner and Kadri for Vlasic and a 3rd earlier this year and I cut into them pretty good.

Why the hate?

He's their version of Hamhuis IMO, rock solid defensively, decent puck mover, very smart, good skater. #1 d-man on one of the best teams in the league so he must be doing something right.

Much tougher to forecheck against a team as fast as TB.

EDIT - *forecheck effectively*

Fair enough but they're not playing their usual game that's for sure.

They'll need to take at least 3 lefties out of 8, they can get awya with only dressing 2 a game, but they'd be (frank)ed if Keith goes down. I'd take Keith, Vlasic(so underrated) and Hamhuis as the 3 lefties. Weber, Doughty, Subban, Seabrook, Pietrangelo as the 5 righties.

Bouwmeester?

I'll take Hamhuis and Vlasic over him, not by a whole lot.

Not a chance I would. You look for small advantages in a short tournament like this. Having a pairing of Pietrangelo and Bouwmeester that are familiar with each other is an easy choice IMO.

Meh, only times I've noticed him when the Canucks play SJ is when he (frank)s up.

I don't think he's near as good as Hamhuis. But SJ fans seem unreasonably high on him, so it must be just when I watch...

Think of him as SJ's version of Edler. Except I bet Vlasic doesn't bobble the puck 57% of the time at the blue line when his team is on the PP

Quiet in here this morning.

I still think if gillis is trading Edler to DET, Mantha has to be part of the package. Kid has Jamie. Benn potential written all over him.

Yes pretty quite in here today. I like Mantha. Lots potential they won't make him a part of that deal.

I didn't think I would be saying this but Booth looked like the only one with energy last night. Our team was very sluggish all around. It seemed like everyone was just a little disinterested.

Booth's been solid lately, still not worth that money but actually helping the team.
