I was at the game in Cobumbus a week and half ago and both of the games in Detroit early this season. Hartnell wasn't even at the October 12th game. Giroux and Voracek both collected their first points of the season during game 6 against the Wings. Regardless of the assist they collected each, they both sucked and it was on them to pick up their own games.

Did you happen to notice at that game you were at that we didn't score one even strength goal against a bottom feeding team? Not one.

People have been saying Raffl is the reason why Giroux and Voracek have picked up their games. You also make it sound like Hartnell scoring 7 goals is a bad thing. If he's been bad, who's been worse? Voracek has 9 with top line minutes. Schenn has 8. Couturier has 7 also.

The team need balance and not to rely on one line.

Yes I was watching the game and I wasnt talking about the Oct 12th game I was talking about the one in Edmonton last week. I noticed how Giroux and Voracek were playing well and generating lots of chances. As it happens Bryz actually played well and we hit a few posts also. Couterier is not getting paid 4.5 mill a season yet and is 20 years old, he is also relied on to shut down the opposing temas top line so you cant even compare the two. As far as Schenn and Voracek are considered both are starting to get going and Schenn will at leat get his nose dirty, Hartnell is not even doing this. Voracek's 4 million is far more economical right now than Hartnell's 4.5 and if you want to compare points Voracek has 27 and Hartnell has 18. Hartnell only having 7 goals IS a bad thing for how many minutes he is playing Your argument is invalid and just plain silly.

Oh my god.

You brought up the game you went to as if it mattered. I went to three other games this season (as if it matters because it doesn't).

Do you know the job of a power forward? Are you watching tonight's game? A Power Forward's job is to drive to the net as Hartnell did son on the waved off goal. His job is to get to the top of the crease and screen the goalie as he did on the allowed goal tonight. It's something he also does on the PP. It's a strategy that doesn't always lead to point production. He isn't going to tip every goal in front of the net. He's not gonna get to every rebound standing with his back to the goalie and with a opposing defender on his back. You cannot compare Voracek and Hartnell. two different players, two different roles. Hartnell is not as gifted a player as Voracek as far as stick handling. Hartnell's job is basically two take a beating in the corners, along the boards and in the crease.
