why can't hartnell be moved to the fourth line. i have no problem with that. 4th line and powerplay until someone else gets hurt.

Because he's not responsible enough defensively--with his constant falling down and what not shenanigans.

Not every 4th line is a defensive line. I'm sure Fartnell is better defensively then Rosehill.

Here he goes again.....

Raffl has been one of the better players on the ice and is clicking on a line with G and V. NO! Just NO.

- youarewrong

Raffl has 10 points in his last 15 games playing on the top line. Hartnell has 11 points in his last 15 games, while being on a current four game point streak (5 in 4 games). Raffl was solid last night but not producing a top line player every night. Most of Giroux and Voracek's points from the Power Play.

Raffl gets zero time on the PP.

And as you said, "Most of Giroux and Voracek's points from the Power Play." You can add Hartnell's numbers in there as well, and Simmonds'. That also means that every single point Raffl has so far this season has been at even strength, and every team needs a line that is a threat 5 v 5, and that is neither the 2nd nor 3rd lines for the Flyers right now.

In other words, Raffl's are the harder points to earn.

Do you think its just a coincidence that G and Voracek have taken off since paired with Raffl? They work great together as a trio.

Actually he does. He will go back and talk about the Ottawa streach here in a minute and how hartnell was on the line then.... wash rince repeat...

Now... can we get back to trading for Yakupov.

They're getting most of their production on the Power Play.

Giroux-Voracek
Schenn-Simmonds

Without looking at the LW position, who should be the more talented and more dominating pair?

And they are getting production on 5 on 5 too. And when they are playing 5 on 5 as a unit, they actually look good as a line. That wasn't happening before. Raffl's speed and puck moving, opens the ice more then Hartnell does.
