Fosco has nothing better to do anyway. Once Edler gets traded he'll have the time he spends defending Edler to spare as well

wait, you mean Edler hasn't been traded yet?

I can add an "NA" spot which is only eligible for players not in the NHL (ie prospects, or suspended prospects).
- Fosco

Fosco you magnificant bastard I like it. Perhaps 3-5 spots?

Unbelievable!!!! He will be team Canada on his own at the Olympics this year. He will win the gold, the silver & the bronze medals in mens ice hockey.
- Marwood

Is it true that he current leads the voting for hart, vezina & selke trophies again this year ( the Norris, art Ross & rocket Richard are in the bag)

Yeah, that could work, but what happens if the players gets called up for a few games and then sent down back again? Are you forced to drop another player, can you just not activate him for your matchup that week if you don't want to drop anyone? It's gonna be tough for you to keep track of that stuff, could open a can of worms if someone says they don't want a prospect and just uses that spot for a veteran player. I think just keeping the bench larger and letting people decide on how they want to run their teams(prospects, veterans, etc) is the way to go. Because most of the contending teams won't hold onto prospects so that make it easier for the rebuilding teams.

Just my 2 cents, but we'll let the majority vote on what they want of course. I voted to keep benches the same, but I now that a shortened bench would benefit my team for sure.

Why don't you look at it glass half full. His skating and passing probably isn't gonna get worse until he's dead. So there is that......

Exactly, but what if someone drops their prospect for a player actually in the NHL? Or what if the prospect becomes a full-time NHL player? Does he still count as a prospect roster slot? That would be a nice advantage to have someone actually getting stats for you while others have prospects not in the league yet. It's just way too confusing, why not just keep the benches deep and let everyone manage their teams the way they want?

There are guys who have entire rosters of horvat, forsbergs etc... They won't be good in our pool for 5 years.

Those and some form of a Nobel prize as well. He'll be speaking about it at his New Years address to the Assembly at the United Nations next week.

It's all good, I didn't have a 2nd, I would have given better players but I guess you're all in for picks.

I think if a player gets called up and loses "NA" status it's like when a player is activate from "IR"—you can still leave that player in the NA/IR spot, but if you try to make any roster drops/adds while that player is still in the spot, you'll get a "roster error," and it won't let you add/drop until you rectify the problem.

Also, if you leave the player there for too long after he is no longer NA/IR (can't remember how long, or even if this still happens), you'll get a "roster error" when you try to dress a lineup.

So it does force you to activate or drop the player eventually, but you have time to decide.
