People are too picky. 4th liners are so fickle. When the devils made their run 2 seasons ago their 4th line was dominating. 2 waiver cast offs and a career ahler. None of them really tough or mean or great with puck possesion

They were great that playoffs.

Jannik "stone hands" Hansen with his 5th in 9 games.

I expect a minimum of .75 pts/GM when playing with the sedins. What's Hansens?

Typical Hansen anyway. Gets hot for 10-15 games and invisible the rest of the season

Bernier's always been a solid possession player, that was a smart pickup for NJ. Carter's been decent as well. Gionta was the surprising one.

Weise and Sestito are what they are at this point.

Archibald is a guy I have hopes for though, could be a solid 4th liner.

He's one of the guys who plays his ass off every night, similar to guys like Burrows, Santo, Higgins, etc. He's definitely a third line player, but I don't think of him as someone who plays well for 15 games a year and does nothing after that

And what was my original comment about him? Belongs on the 3rd line and not in the top 6.

Don't think anyone disagrees, Burrows is out, who else do you want? Kassian doesn't deserve it, but he could be worth a shot if Hansen cools off before Burrows is back. I believe Torts said that he wants a solid two-way player with some speed on each line though so I doubt Kassian gets the gig.

I root for the best case scenario, my player slight it up and the Nucks win.

That goal disturbed me in so many ways. Starting with that ridiculous turn over by Hamhuis.

I think Kassian is coming along just fine. I do expect more but we knew he was going to have to earn top minutes. Others have earned more and are getting more. As a coach you play the chemistry and the hot hand. We haven't had this type of quality coaching. It refreshing.

Suprise, suprise. Both Sedins miss in alone on the goalie with a flyer player in alone on lack in between. #shootout

I'm not seeing much improvement from last year from him. He needs to bulk up again. Who cares if he's a step slower, he's a power forward and needs to dominate along the boards.

Thats odd I though he gained some speed and his hands just need to catch up. He's naturally big and tough. No need to over do it.

Guess we'll have to agree to disagree, but I'm starting to get a little worried about his top 6 potential.

I agree. I also think he's progressing nicely. He's still young he'll bulk up a bit naturally.
