Oh I agree its pretty funny they must have watched game film of the Bruins

ZING!

btw on that spengler cup rule, Imagine if they adopted a similar rule where the winning team gets the best player for the duration of the playoffs.

I know it's dumb and it would never happen but imagine how entertaining the finals would be?

Right now I'd start Miller in the Olympics. If he was on a legitimate team he would be in the Vezina discussion. He played out of his mind back in 2010, I have no concerns as to whether or not he can regain that form this time around.

Agreed. Going into the year I thought Quick would start with Miller going in vs weaker teams and Anderson being the third. Looking now that Miller is going to start and not because of Quicks injury, he just flat out steps up his games during Olympic years.

Its funny because his save percentage is only .02 lower this season than his Vezina winning season. If he only had a better team in front of him ugh

Everybody else does the work and Mantha gets the goal. Not impressed with his game as a whole. He just had the puck on a 3-1 and didn't get a shot or pass off...

Yea most would, I like Mantha though. I think he could turn into a James Neal type player for them.

yes.

Franzen is built like a mack truck, he should physically dominate opponents and be able to hang onto the puck. Nope, he floats and takes games off.

I have always believed that Franzen, with his hands, size, skills should be a 30-40 goal man every season. But, hes not.

Ryan Miller's angles and success in challenging shooters was as good as it gets yesterday. Alex Ovechkin had 12 shots and none of them caused Miller to enter desperation mode.

That was a clinic. That was 2010 Vancouver caliber.

Fair enough, when I see Franzen I usually like his play. To each their own. You going to the Winter Classic?
