First thought I had when I heard what Carlyle said was "This is probably just a tactic to try and motivate Kadri" same probably goes with these "rumours" being leaked. Obviously Kadri wants to play in Toronto, hope this gives him a bit of a kick in the pants.

Was at the game last night, pretty entertaining game to be at. Toronto started off slow as hell, but picked it up in the 2nd and parts of the 3rd. Bernier was solid once again. Kadri "rumours" are interesting, as i'm not totally opposed to moving him if the return was right. He's not an untouchable for me, but I wouldn't be moving him just to move him, as he definitely has more talent than he's shown over the past month or so. Not sure being thrust in the #1 Centre role was a bit over-whelming for him, that combined with the 24/7 stuff might be messing with his head a bit, hope he can get out of this funk.

Also, please for the love of god never post on the Facebook Leaf fan page...I went on there with this same opinion pretty much and had guys telling me that they'd never move Kadri and that he has Datsyuk type potential. Yes they really said that.

We're already weak down the middle and there's talk of trading Kadri? Sure, not playing great this season but still putting up decent points... give this kid another season or 2 and he's a legit gamer... wouldn't be shocked to see him develop into that #1 C... and with Toronto's record, they'll trade him, he'll be some other teams' #1 C and we'll still be on the ever elusive hunt for one since Mats Sundin last graced the #13 jersey...

First break I've had since early 2010... I needed it... and I won't have another break for damn near 2 years once I go back at the beginning of February... damn rat race... but if you go flat out like that and bank some cash, you can spend several months off and do some travelling and relaxing... it's a trade off... I prefer it this way instead of only 2 weeks vacation every year... (frank) that... when I take a vacation, I take months off... lol
