If you're referring to the Stastny trade, yes, 6.7mil off the books, 6.5 for Stastny and Seimens is in the minors. A guy who could be a very good defensmen by the way.

Meh, I watch a lot of hockey. Bogo is big and physical. Can play 20 min a night no problem. If not that then we should sign Greene in FA. Need a big bodied stay at home guy.

It's not useless. But when it fluctuates with some players wildly from year-to-year where other stat lines remain relatively consistent (goals, assists, PIM, etc.), it seems likely that it says more about the team than the player...

No question Bogo is better, but the differences are not far apart. Bogo has a cannon for a shot and is a slightly better skater. I don't think he's a necessary addition to the Leafs. Franson has his offense in spades and has really upped his physical and defensive game.

Fun fact: Chris Pronger (my least favourite player) was consistently pretty good at defence.

He went from +52 (!) in 1999-2000 to -1 in 2003-2004.

Kule won't be going anywhere If Toronto's head office has brains in their heads. The guy is so under appreciated. Leave him and bring back Komarov next year. The poor Russian has no more comrades.

The guy is just as good as Clarkson and doesn't ask for much contractually. Why ship him away?
