yeah it is very reasonable to compare Kadri to Dmen and goalies and guys who went on to be superstars ... it is also good for your pro-Kadri arguement to list guys that accomplished more at his age.

I like Ovi but that's is (frank)ing pathetic, more so cause even a stride or two would have got him to defend that goal. I do t know how something like that wouldn't embarrass him to play better defense.

3) get knocked off the puck since every player in the league knows exactly what he is going to do.

i like bozak, bolland, holland, mcclemant as our centres. Holland will never be as good as kadri, but he plays a safe game and can contribute decently on offense. Will be much cheaper as well and the return you get from kadri will be significant. Im not saying move kadri because of this slump, i said he's expendable month(s) ago, he just never seemed to fit the mould for me. Carlyle loves smart players regardless of skill, that's why kessel had to adjust and why he loves bozak and bolland.

As for gardiner, he is inconsistent like Kadri but d take alot longer to develop. Kadri is in his 2nd full season but is also 23 years old (still young but should be more consistent by now especially with an opportunity like kessel and jvr).

Also I have to say I liked Bozak's game a lot last night. He still can't shoot, but it's pretty clear the defensive side of his game is 1C level. If only him and Kadri could do a fusion dance..

I think it works out to be 7.0 vs. 5.5.
But we get liles off the books and out of the minors, so i believe we get below the cap. Could be wrong, but i think the trade works on a skill and prospect level
