Oh I'm sure. Did he blame the season on injuries and say how wonderful Capuano was? I'm guessing he took zero blame for the team that he put together and did nothing to help?

"coaching doing a great job.. look at what they did last year... working with these young kids. Patience... injuries... "

Goaltending ..."Nabokov resume speaks for itself... played great for us last year.. back to form this year..."

loss of Viz... and Strait... play of guys like Dehaan, Donovan...

also mentioned the stregnth of defense in our system and we are not going to rush guys like Mayfield and Reinhardt.. they are not ready to make the next step and going to stay patient.

Cant look over deHaan playing 20+ minutes with Hamonic...the kid has been great so far.

I dont think he's a top-pairing solution but he hasnt disappointed at all.

remember when people using CDH as a throw-in in their made up deals...wow. i wonder who would own up to saying they were willing to trade him for a back of pucks.

sometimes the best deals are the ones not made...garth with another great hold.

His biggest issue was health... (Garth even said that.. "if he can stay healthy..etc."). If a monster trade was offered for a Goalie or a D-man I would still include him in a heart beat for fear of Martinek disease.

Edit: by the way when I made a fool of myself to him last year he said they all call him "Mr. Glass" ... so he is well aware of his issue too.

He says Capuano is doing a great job developing the kids and then says we lost games because of Donovan, etc? Facking unreal. Makes zero facking sense. Guys is such a clown. Wonder if he actually believes his own line of shat? Didn't take any blame for anything and said the coaching staff was doing a great job? . Nabokov who shat the bed in the playoffs last year and was terrible before he got injured? . Facking moron, I'm happy I missed it. Guy should've been fired two months ago along with all the pieces of garbage he hired.

Cappy has patience working with the kids and doing a great job? How did Nabby do in the playoffs? So glad I missed this interview. Some wonder why Garth gets hammered?

Just stop blowing smoke up Snow's ass already please? You make it sound like other GM's were flooding the phone lines for DeHaan and Snow was genius enough to hold off on making a blockbuster deal for DeHaan because he just knew he was going to be a great D man. Give me a break. Garth Snow is a complete jackass and a terrible GM. How much more BS do you need to see before you realise this? Remove your nose from the man a$$ it seriously makes you look foolish. Next thing you know you'll be saying how genius Snow was to pick Tavares first overall.

I give credit to Butch for once b/c he did flat out ask why not for a D-man or a goalie... in regards to the Vanek trade. Then he kind of did a 1000 yard stunned stare when Garth gave him the B.S about coaching doing a great job.

Because he deserves it. In fact i don't think he gets hammered enough. Every facet of the press should be hammering this clown just for thinking Capuano is a great coach and doing a great job forget about the countless other shat. Guys is a total clown.

This is beacuse Snow isn't too bright like everyone he hires and the staff he surronds himself with.

How could you say Cappy is doing a great job with a straight face or talk about Nabby like he is Roy? It's also pretty weak when you mention injuries when you left the D in horrible shape.

I like Dehaan so far but he is far from a sure thing. -7 in 14 games with 0 points is not exactly playing lights out but when you're use to watching AMAC every night I can see how some on here think he is a stud

How much better would this team be with Dehaan on power play point instead of Amac... drives me nuts.

Again, because Snow isn't too bright and doesn't have a clue. Think about what Snow has done and hasn't done. Think about his signings. Yeah you could bring up Grabner and Moulson and I could snap off ten names to contradict them. It's a never ending joke with Capuano as coach ruining the develpoment of our "future". It's a merry go round of bullshat with no end in sight because we have a mron for a GM and a facking cave man for a coach that wouldn't even have a job in a supermarket behind a cash register if it weren't for the islanders.

Just to change topics out of sheer boredom. I always wanted Nylander to play for the isles.... just though Nylander the Islander sounded like a great fit. It never happened... obviously .. but looking at this years draft I would not mind his son being out pick.

3. William Nylander – C – Sodertalje (Sweden)

As a 16 year old, Nylander had 43 points in 27 games with Sodertalje in the J20 SuperElit, the most among both U18 and U17 players. He also appeared in 8 games with Sodertalje in the Allsvenskan and contributed with 6 points. Nylander is the son of former NHLer Michael Nylander.

Don't get me wrong I like Dehaan so far but saying how smart Snow was to hold of on perspective trades for him is absurd. Like GM's from all over the league were clamoring for Calvin DeHaan and what a genius Snow was for holding off because he knew he'd develop into this. Facking stupid. He probably didn't get one facking call for the kid but he's a genius for holding off?

One of the many mind boggling things Capuano does that contributes to losses on a nightly basis. I've NEVER seen a more awkward point man on the PP in my life. Yet he sends him out there every night on the first PP unit. Capuano is a great coach

He played the whole 2:00 late in the game against the devils on their last PP.
