I would love to take a shot at being a GM...I couldn't be much worse than the clown we have now...

If the Carolina gm made that offer he'd be fired... and if snow turned that down he should be shot on sight... no way this is a true rumor...

for arguments sake if that's true and snow turned it down... that would be snow turning down a defensive upgrade because of a money situation (too expensive), yet the isles have the most cap room in the league.

because our ass clown of a GM believes THIS is a playoff contending team and that an inferior coach and one of the lowest payrolls in pro sports is the recipe for success.

Pros in the olympics is such a joke. It's a popularity contest. Why not pro football players on the summer track & field teams if you're gonna whore out the whole thing for money??

Cannot imagine Isles turning this down. I'm not big on Gleason, but this is a move you have to make if true. Hopefully there are other moves the Isles can make.

Would have been nice to see KO make it...he's played well enough to earn it not just this season but the end of last season and in the playoffs too. But taking a couple of extra small centers and leaving Ryan off is even crazier. I'd take Yandle over a couple of those d-men, too.

The Canadien pundits (ie Draeger, Garrioch)are having a field day on the USA selection process...they felt KO and Ryan should have made it. Did you see all the Rangers that were in the mix got selected...

That's the joke of it all. It seems like they had their minds made up in August on the majority of the team and weren't open minded to anyone else being considered. I wouldn't be offended if KO was at least considered and had a fighter's chance of making it. At least it looks like Yandle and Ryan were at least considered.
