He's almost forcing New Jersey to keep him. He's playing out his mind and body. He's doesn't look like the Jagr that was struggling in the playoffs.

True, but if they arnt set to make a playoff run then I bet Lou tries to get back into first round

Not sure why you say Wideman's deal is so terrible, he has actually played decent in his time with Calgary & our power play has sucked since he's been injured. Not a chance Brodie gets moved, he was due to for a bit of a regression since the last 2 years have been incredible progression. He still plays top 4 minutes. I have no complaints. Russell has played great & they should pay him some money & resign him sooner than later. I see Butler being moved for a 3rd to Boston.

fully agree with you here. And not sure why people think Brodie is having a bad year. The kid is taking on big minutes for a full season for the first time and with the Wideman/Gio injuries had to play a huge roll. Good for him.

Widemans deal isn't bad either. If he moves it will be at deadline to open up a spot for wotherspoon or Seiloff and Gio/Brodie/Russell/Smid as top 4

Like you said, Butler is the one to be moved. Then Breen and Smith.

If it gets them a Big RW. Its worth moving D.

Makes no sense to move Moulson, we don't need all these picks and you can't ice a team filled with kids it doesn't work. Moulson should be resigned.

You can't trade a player back to his original team in the same season.

Besides, the Vanek trade was so idiotic I'm sure the Islanders would like to distance themselves from it rather than compounding the damage by trading another top prospect.

You are incorrect sir. The rule does not exist. There was a rule, 2 lockouts ago , that was in place so teams could not hide players from the waiver draft, which no longer exists . buffalo and Ny can trade Moulson again if they wish.

Like the owner of the Boston Bruins... ya dumbass! How does a Bruins fan mock the city of Buffalo when the guy who owns their team is from there! Jeremy Jacobs is from Buffalo and operates his food service company (Delaware North) out of that city, as well. I would think a true Chowda Head would appreciate a blue-collar city like Buffalo... you must be too young to remember the days when the Bills used to female dog-slap your Pats and the Sabres would beat down the Bruins all year long. Those days will eventually return... everything is cyclical in sports. Sabres may not have a Cup yet, but they haven't been in existence as long as it took the Red Sox to figure it out again. You just gave me extra motivation to look forward to the days when the tables turn back around again. Witless moron.

Nashville is not going to give up too way too much because they know he will be gone next year. Also it is not for nothing.....it is to help them make the playoffs this year.

Nasheville gave up a first rounder for playoff stud Paul Gaustad who was on an expiring contract.
