we are just horrible. If our strategy to clear the defensive zone is to throw it up the boards, why do we never have any forwards there and inside the opposing ones? We stand past them and then seem shocked the puck didn't make it all the way through.

no offense to anyone intended, but our own end is a chinese fire drill.

We have players circling watching the play and checking no one.

AND we consistently throw the puck away without looking, turning it over repeatedly.

They should just use wooden sticks. I'm convinced that more goals are lost due to the fragility and unpredictability of the current ones than are scored because of the slight advantage they have over wooden ones.

Heard he was happy with the play of his draft pick de Haan.

Any mention of his forward draft picks barely scoring at this level or his goaltenders playing like sieves?

so if the whole season is a write off (as seeing cappy and snow are still employed and no trades have been made in this tailspin) then the real question is, how can anything be expected to change when problems are identified but left unaddressed? We won't be able to resign Vanek, we won't be able to sign any ufa's so we're left with kids coming on defense that won't be ready and will need sheltered minutes yet we have no one capable of playing the minutes that will be needed in order to shelter them. We have no secondary scoring, we'll have another hole on the top line and be stuck with another year of crap where we won't have a 1st round pick.

This team shows absolutely no reason to stick this out. This organization shows no ability to judge their staff and players correctly, and no ability to make changes when needed. Our coach can't adjust and there is no system, they can't teach the kids and frequently punish them while allowing vets who coast to play prime minutes.

This whole organization, top to bottom, is a joke. It's a joke to the fans who continually stick with this mess because we remember the glory days and we're loyal - far too loyal to deserve this crap.

I'm sorry but could Vanek care any less out there.....friggin give JT and KO someone to play with that at least has some jump....he floats around out there...can't even make a pass or at least make it look like he's trying to....don't get all over me about Moulson..has nothing to do with him...its Vanek and his obvious lack of interest on what happens on the ice unless he can pop one in....ridiculous.... Put Strome up there with JT and KO....frig it gove me MM back...lol I'd take PA and Boyes back too while i'm at it....

Amac is one of the worst defenseman I've seen in my life yet he plays almost thirty minutes a night? Good on niño demanding a trade and getting away from this joke of an organization. Glad he scored, hope he puts two mor in before the game is over. Fack this team, fack it's GM, fack it's owner and fack it's coach and you know what?
