Nurse's Uncle is a stiff. He will probably turn out the same.

No. Both are bad but Anaheim's is worse.

I wouldn't call 11-9 against the Giants devastating them. I find it amusing that his number is retired.

6 Outdoor games this year? Too many. The NHL is going to water it down. The novelty will wear off soon.

There should be two a year. Winter Classic on New Years Day, and a Heritage Classic between two Canadian teams.

The novelty wore off after the first one for me. They don't interest me in the least and I'd venture a guess the players aren't thrilled with them either.

Freezing cold, bad ice, hazardous conditions.

As a pickup/alumni game, it's great. For a game that counts in the standings, I can't imagine - minus all the positive league mandated sound bites aside - how the players find it enjoyable.

I don't love them for sure. I personally like the Vancouver ones.

1 or 2 a year is fine. 6 is over doing it. Has there been any serious injuries in all the games due to bad ice conditions? I don't recall any.

Going to be hilarious when in 2016 (I believe it is), they have an outdoor one in Winnipeg.

-35C, -31F for a whole game for them to play in

Id actually prefer something along the lines of a package around BSchenn/Gardiner.

There was a Heritage Classic a few years ago where it was insanely cold. At least the ice will be good!

2003 Game

The event took place in Edmonton's Commonwealth Stadium in front of a crowd of 57,167, despite temperatures of close to −18 °C, −30 °C (−22 °F) with wind chill

Man, injuries not kind to the Bs and the Pens this season.

Saw Steen is out indefinitely with concussion symptoms too.

Injuries seems to be crippling the Bruins and Pens in the standings.

Its fine, they will have heaters on the benches.

I went out skiing in -35F last week, ice in my beard. Fun times haha.

Leafs closing in on a 7 year, for 7 million/year deal for Phaneuf.

Hilarious. Back to mediocrity in leaf land.

I love the cold. Here in NJ winters are very mild compared to the frozen tundra in Canada. I spent a few weeks in Minneapolis in January about 15 years ago... It was frigid.

7 per year for his 28-35 year old seasons with the cap going up? Makes the Streit deal look even dumber.

Its alright, but when it goes from roughly November to April you get sick of it.

Could be. They are the class of the East.

The ice was littered with hats in Chicago last night huh? I wonder what caused it?
