Plus all this talk in here about the team ceiling and being mediocre is pissing me off. The team 17-9-4 since starting 1-7. That's impressive and I like what I'm seeing out of the team. And the disclaimer is that I was one of the biggest pessimists in the beginning of the year. They have talent and it's starting to show.

Flyers are now 8th in the conference. They're 3 points back of Toronto with 2 games in hand. It'd be good to get in position for a wildcard spot in case a division rival manages to surge ahead of us.

That's kinda what I worry about -- I really don't think New Jersey is bad. I think Peter DeBoer's an excellent coach, and I can see them getting hot.

I wasn't implying you weren't a fan or thought they stink. I see a lot of the 2010 team in this one, with better goaltending. They have a ton of fight since the beginning of the season. When they are down 2 or 3, I feel like they can come back. No team in the East is head and shoulders better then them and that includes Pittsburgh. The West on the other hand is a different story.

The forwards are a treat to watch right now and 28 and 93 are on top of their games but could you imagine if we had just one star dman and a couple of real good ones. Coburn, Mezsaros, Streit are dog dooie and Kimmo is just over the hill. I forgot to mention spin orama Schenn is the last minute, they are a bunch of clowns on D but I still love them, lol.

I really have to wonder what his team mates are going to think of this stick throwing incident, it's called losing the room and I am sure Eakins will be addressing that soon enough. Bryz played good but by throwing his stick after the goal he was clearly saying what a bunch of morons taking two dumb penalties. Very similar to the incident in Philly last year when he left the puck for Coburn and Coburn left it for Bryz and the wrong guy got it and scored, lol
Bryz to me clearly through his new Oiler mates under the bus with that reaction.
