Fml... It's tough being a senators fan these days.. Not much to be happy about at all.

He has definitely been a pleasant surprise, but is anchored by Neil, and even worse Greening. Smith is a capable player, but that line is gawdddd awful.

I don't think it's the O as much as Dmen. If Melnyk wasn't so cheap and got a couple more solid dmen ottawa would be near the top. Seems to be an Ontario team thing.. crappy defensive play.

Missed whole game, luckily.

Wiercioch for Del Zotto is not a deal I do. Weircioch, though not as advanced in his skating as Del Zotto, is a solid big body Dman that needs a little more time at the pro level to figure out his game. He moves the puck just as well, or even better, than MDZ, is signed at a good price, and though not has higly touted shows more signs of consistency.

Having said that adding a tough puck moving dman of MDZ potentisl is intriguing to me.

Greening, Gryba, and a pick/prospect for MDZ is a fair deal.
