Surprised Bernier hasn't got the hook yet. Pretty shaky. |

To start the year, Leaf fans were way to optimistic. Last years playoff appearence because of a shortened season and only playing Eastern teams went to their heads, now they are getting a dose of reality. |

2-0 buffalo.. Scott scores on a Raymond turnover That'll get the leaf fans fired up - Bieksa#3
He actually scored?
I'll always remember when he dressed for a playoff game with the Hawks against us. I think he had like 3 or 4 shifts, and on one shift he was unable to complete a simple 5 foot pass in his own zone to his teammate with like no forecheck pressure. |

What do you think of that offer? I honestly thought you would have accepted. - Nucker101
Good offer, but very concerned about Letang's injury woes (as well as Burrows, but to a lesser extent). Meanwhile, Big Buff, Dubinsky, and Gudas are not only producing but have fantastic peripherals. As such, I think I'm going to have to pass (ok, I know I know, watch Letang come back and win the Norris and Burrows the Selke , with personal best season totals ugggg).
However, I'm confident that there is a deal out there that we'll make, Nucker - keep those offers coming |

so are you! (but I take that as a good thing actually - just means good asset management on both sides of the coin)
P.S. I am quite confident there is a deal out there, though, as we've been very close to completing a trade several times now |

Watching Ted. When Giovani Ribisisi dances to "I think we're alone now" I picture that as a typical Saturday night for Yeti |

You're having a dream night, Toews with 2+2 and Varlemov in in relief with 11 saves, 1.00 SV% and 0.00 GAA |

That deal looks pretty good for you, big risk, but big rewards.
Kunitz is actually a more valuable fantasy player at the moment however |

Kunitz is a stud as long as he's paired with Sid. I'm just afraid of drafting guys like that in a keeper since lines sometimes change and he's not that young either. You got a steal though.
I'll take my chances with Malkin.
My goalies, defense and depth still scare me though |

There are so many up and coming players that having one or two "old timers" isn't really a risk. Kunitz puts up shots/hits a plenty as well, so even if his point totals drop off he's still more valuable than a lot of other guys. My offer for Malkin wasn't as good as yours... - 1970vintage
Knowing myself I doubt my team ever looks nearly the same year to year, I get bored of the same names. |
