You're a Habs fan?

Also, I thought your 'integrity' was to not comment on players/personnel while still with a team. Because, you are so close with the players and stuff...

Happy holidays

MDZ isn't drawing big returns, I agree but the rangers are not even close to trading Nash for anyone... PAC is not close to value in the rangers mind
- Eklund

Dregger has already said MDZ will most likely be a Sen for a package they offered long ago but the Rags refused, expecting to get more. Condra is one name mentioned but I don't recall the others.

I watch every Habs game and talk to guys on the team. I didn't say they were a contender. I said they were a winning team

As things are now I don't see any way PK signs anything but another 1 year deal. That's not good.
- Eklund

You claim things are going horribly bad in the room and that Therrien is hated by Pacioretty and Subban yet the 100000 reporters covering the team make no mention of it.

I'm having a real hard time believing any of this is true.

Sure there have been some comments by Therrien about Subban over the last year but it's far from being a problem.

And I've never even heard anything about Pacioretty.

It's like he's new here or something. How do you have a trade roomer site without talking about players?

Wouldn't mind MDZ with the Habs, but there is no way Pacioretty is involved in the trade.

Heard a couple interesting tidbits about the Bruins and Blues possibly talking a deal. Sounds like Hitchcock likes Caron. No scoop on that Ek, eh?

Let's just say I have the fortune of not holding a Habs press pass and being able to say whatever I really believe. There are a lot of nervous Habs media people...and with good reason they have to watch what they say.

If that's the guy he's talking to, it would also explain the previous blog in which he said Therrien sucked for no playing Brière the right way even if Danny failed on every single line he was at except with Plekanec for a 3 games stretch.

Ek is going where none of the main stream media dares go, reporting things that'll get them banned from covering the team. Ek's using his anonymity to give us the truth- you'd better show him some respect. It's his neck on the line, not yours.

It gets worse. Gallagher and Galchenyuk will be so tainted by this unraveling of events that they'll eventually bolt too. Price might retire.

Oh god please no. I get the issue, but trading those 2 guy (who are the future of the organisation) just for keeping a coach for another year or 2 is beyond stupid.
Please tell me that Pacioretty can get more than MDZ, last I heard of you, Diaz and prospect would have done it. I have trouble thinking of who else rangers would be willing to give to be close to Pacthes' value. Bergevin can't afford to lose the trade if he ever trade one of these guys.

Fair enough, but as long as the team is winning, I doubt things will go as badly as you say.

It could easily be a whole different story if they start losing.

That prospect was Galchenyuk. MDZ will be the prize of the deadline.
