i'm sure he would do something RC didnt like.. like use old spice instead of brut, and he'd get benched.

Here's a question, boys - who, that is currently available, would you like to see coaching this team?

Gards seem to play very well when he on the ice with Phaneuf.
- Yeti1181

ah yes.. in offensive situations.. gards is never out there when the opposition top lines are tho... not on purpose.

Good Stuff in here.

Ha ha, yeah I watched that the other day, great stuff. For all the abuse hockey refs take from upset fans, they don't get enough credit for the skating they have to do. I can't think of another sport where the refs are athletes in their own right.

Was at the game last night and it was a great atmosphere....much louder than normal...

probably because the bay street suits weren't there for their usual after work beer...typing on their phones during a powerplay

i couldnt give you a name.. but someone who doesnt have as rigid a philosophy as RC.

i dont find that he adapts to his players very well... he expects them to adapt to his systems. which is fine i guess... but it negates some of the stronger skill sets of some of the players.

It was the penalty in the last 2 minutes that irked me.

And then Carlyle puts on Ranger?

Few times I ve seen it 5 on 5 liked what I saw. Like to see a little more of it to get a better handle in it.

thats because ranger is the best shutdown guy left after that.

toronto's D needs some tweaking.. too many puck carriers / offensive output guys on the back end.

who arent even really generating offense... i mean in all honesty... the leafs dont have one true top tier shutdown guy.. phaneuf is the closest but he's more of a two way guy.

I'm convinced you set people up then just hover your hand over the ban button . At least that's what I do.

yes i know.. but i doubt you see that vs carolina.

gards would get owned by staal semin etc.

the sabres top line isnt nearly the same kind of threat.

he's still a kid tho.. there is still hope.

Soccer... the refs can run up to 12 miles in a 90 minute game

All this negative energy just makes Pha9 stronger.
- Zezel

He may be the only Defenseman that has scored more goals on his own net than he has on the opposition net.

Oh well, we knew it was coming, 7 more years of crap, laziness, lackadaisical play and mediocrity. There is always movie night to watch, right?

I'm done with it.

Wasn't just this game but yes agree but sometimes blends of players work out better then we anticipated.

Wow, I was thinking of soccer as the only comparable, but I had no idea it could be that much running. That's pretty hardcore.

Sad that it's that low nowadays. I miss the 80-90's for scoring.
