Dallas made around $80 million in revenue in the last year. That's around the same as Edmonton, Winnipeg, and Minnesota, which is right around the middle of the league, and they turned a small profit.

The problem they have is the same as New Jersey, too much arena debt, which is the kind of problem that's caused by an owner who is bleeding cash elsewhere, so he/she/they have to leverage their assets to stay liquid. Not an operating problem, an owner problem, so completely different than the one in Phoenix.
