Mack would be a better story than Naaman Roosevelt was. It will be interesting to see how Mack will perform against much tougher opponents.

To the league or to Buffalo? Hes not from here, but is definetly the best player to play at UB if thats what you mean.

If we go WR in the 1st I want Mike Evans form Texas AM and thats it
- hubie

How tall is he? I think we need someone 6'4" minimum... it's like we're putting the Montreal Canadiens out there in the WR position.

I agree with this but can say if EJ had "lynch" EJ could be a little smarter. Ej is not as good of a accurate passer
- hubie

He's terribly inaccurate and in today's league that is a bad bad thing. You got to be able to put the ball exactly where it needs to be against other big game QB's.

He had a very pedestrian bowl game. Not a good showing for someone who is projected to go in the top half of the first round.
- ImThatGuy

Yeah I hear you seems you have all year and the only thing most still talk abotu is against the Suckeyes. He needs a monster Sr Bowl and combine or hs going to slip into the mid to upper teens

Thats why Brees is so good. THe homerun ball is a minute part of most offenses

I think there are a lot of people all across the country that have a love-fest between the Bills and Mack.

I don't think he'll be a good pro.

Just an opinion.

Better Buffalo Story. He will probably be a second rounder. Tough for the Bills to grab him there with teh needs they have. Third or forth round I think they take him.

Stil have to be able to stretch the D to keep them honest. You have to complete some deep throws.

Thad lewis passes the 'eyeball' test more than EJ does.

I will prob get a lot of flak for this. Hes had the same college career as Kiko just that Kiko was not in the spot light. Mack will be good in the league not great.

If Mack didnt go to UB nobody would car about him cause Anthony Barr at UCLA is a better solution and all around better player

Ub gets someone taken in the first round will likely pay dividends for the program though.

Pretty much when you see Johnny ATM throw a ball that would get picked in the leauge become a completed pass its Mike Evans.

Mack is rated as the number 4 or 5th draft prospect. Overall.

Eh, I disagree. Lewis does one thing well and that's throw the deep ball. He's pretty below average everywhere else.
To put this in perspective, Manuel has faced these top defenses in his rookie season

Panthers- 3rd
Ravens - 9th
Jets 11th x2
Tampa Bay - 13th
Pittsburgh- 14th
New England - 25th
Atlanta -28th.
Cleveland 10th
Jacksonville 27th
He's best the Panthers, Jets, Ravens, and Jags.

That's a pretty tough opening 10 games for a rookie.

You'd know better than me, I barely keep up with the Bills. But obscurity has to be a major challenge for recruiting - so a bowl game and getting someone picked in the 1st round would likely be a boon for the program overall.

Think it will give a bit of a spike but you need to continue it for long growth.

Biggest problem is if you take the top 10 players from Western NY they keep in house maybe 1.

My kid and some of his buddies are being recruited and looking at their options now. Mostly they want to go "somewhere warm" or a big name school. Makes it hard for UB to compete.
