I like Hodgson a lot more than u do & still have hopes of him growing into a good player for us

hodgson is a good young player, and on the plus side he is signed to a pretty reasonable long term deal. he is going to get better and be a nice #2. if we get reinhart and grigorenko develops, we will have some options.

not so much. myers is right on track on the 8 year plan but a 19 year old power forward gets hot potatoed outta town so that we can "rape" some team out of a 5'10", 60 point, #2 center. like you cant find those anywhere.

I hope so. So far Hodgson has been average at best this season. He's one of the few that had no spark under Nolan so far

regardless of hodgson/kassian, the problem is a complete lack of a top line and players like leino, ott, stafford, and ennis (up until very recently) providing next to no secondary scoring for the 20 million or so that they are getting paid.

cool. i hate coming off like a jerk online. i just want them to get better, and it seems to me that the league is really trending bigger. my mom is from peterborough and one of my uncles has petes seasons. ill ask him what he thinks of ritchie

Kassian is producing "more" on a Stanley Cup contender, surrounded by some of the league's best talent. And notwithstanding the fact that he is surrounded by all that talent and leadership, he continues to act and play like a complete doorknob every once in a while.

Hodgson is one of the most reliable players on an absolutely atrocious team, but he improves every year, shows dedication to his professional development, and has not caused even the slightest bit of turmoil in the clubhouse or community since he got here.

How has he improved? He's still a mess defensively. He has not increased his production. Yes he's on an awful team, but he is also apart of this awful team, him being out best center is a major issue.

As for Kassian, he has more goals in less games than he did last year, and he's not playing with the Sedins anymore. Yes he's a moron, but a talented one. If you can't see that the kid is talented than I'm sorry.

And to add to the Hodgson gives it his all or dedicates himself, LaFontaine had to have a sit down with him because of his entitled attitude.

In his first offseason, he was told to improve his skating. He busted ass at Gary Roberts' campt, and now his skating is much better.

His face off percentage is 15% higher in '13-'14 than it was last season. That's what they wanted him to work on last summer.
