I was very skeptical of Nolan at first and thought he was just a plug until a new one... but I have to say.. he is winning me over... he is getting the laziest players we have to compete... he is making us a tough team to play against... he is making some young guys work hard...

I don't really want to accuse Grigs for being lazy. But if that IS the situation, I hope Nolan has a positive effect on him. I really want that kid to succeed.

I cannot help but watch this and absolutely drool... We might not even get to resign him but it sure makes me a lot more optimistic about the next 50 some games.

Same thing can be said about a guy like Armia...

I agree with you... I don't think he can/should be extending by any means right now.. but what he is doing is making the Sabres fun to watch this season..



I forget who it was on twitter.. but one of the Sabres beat writers wrote that he has a heavy feeling that LaFontaine will name himself the GM>

Even with hindsight, I would have never ever traded Perron for Paajarvi. I think I took the time out of my day to troll the Blues for that.

I like his offensive potential on our 2nd or 3rd lines a lot more than other guys..

Winning only makes me think this team will lose out to Florida and Edmonton on the 1st 2 picks of the draft. Between Matt Ellis farts, Drew Stafford playing like an actual effective nhl player and 2 wins in a row...that's enough good karma for one season.
