Took me about 3-4 watchings of reruns to realize that is a real person. But if you asked me now I couldn't tell you what show/movie he's famous for without Googling. And really, I don't even care enough to do it.

Will Wheaton is the famous Wesley Crusher from Star Trek: The Next Generation. He is an annoying little brat who happened to be on the best incarnation of Star Trek.

Hockey .500 is points-based since the exclusion of ties and the inclusion of 3-point games. To me, at least.
- jmatchett383

I understand the points point, but it's bogus/lame when talking about a team's record.

After a game, nobody asks "Hey, did you not lose?"

Nobody.

Indiana Jones' ultimately unnecessary involvement in the Ark events isn't a plot hole. A plot hole implies a gap in logic. Being irrelevant, so to speak, isn't a gap in logic. Anyways, it's not a story about being relevant or whatever. It's about being exciting and shooting people (particularly nazis)!

Also, Big Bang Theory sucks.

- BulliesPhan87

His theory also ignores that the Nazi's used Indy to locate Marion, who had the head piece. Recall the Nazi on the plane with Indy? So no, without Indy, the Nazi's don't find the headpiece, don't get the ark and Belloque gets killed by a hit squad instead of the wrath of Jehovah.

And yes, the BBT is about as funny as finding out you have flying ball rot.

That is true, it's not a plot hole. However, they never did explain how he knew that 1) the Ark was going to unleash monster ghosts and 2) why closing your eyes saves you.
- jmatchett383

Fear of God, he showed it, they didn't. I mean, sure, they didn't show him looking it up on Wikipedia, but whatever. It's exciting.

Thank god Disney bought both franchises...
- Tomahawk

Disney did buy both franchises, but Lucas still did the story boarding for the last 3 films.

And I do not think TPM was as bad as everyone thinks. The movie was more about setting up the politics, answering questions, and developing a story for the other 2 movies. It was bound to have a let-down after people waiting 20 years for another SW movie. Least entertaining of the 6...yes. But the movie wasn't THAT bad.

Yes it was. But I've bored this board enough with all that. Yous got me in an Indy mood now, anyways.

I just mean it wasn't called out. There was a picture of the Ark with lightning and stuff. But it wasn't invading people's bodies with magic ghost fire.

That's assuming the Nazis would never have been able to locate her. They were looking for her and possibly could have tracked her down.

So okay, Indiana Jones' role in the movie is to meet up with a girl he molested and be followed. If he gets killed from there, no relevance. Better?

Pens fans are like distant relatives. They show up for a short time, get on everyone's nerves, then disappear for years.

I thought it was interesting that the Pentrolls showed up after a fun win.

I don't remember them much when the Flyers were 1-7 to start the season.

It's really not a specific thing he found out. The point of it is that Indiana Jones, who chalked it all up to superstition, recognized powers beyond their comprehension in the Ark. In the moment, he respected powers the Nazis sought to abuse. Or something like that. It makes sense to me, anyways.
