Also, I don't want to put a damper on things, but Braydon Schenn looked God-awful last night. Whenever he got the puck, it resulted in a turnover or (when he was fed point-blank) a weak or blocked shot for an easy save. I don't know if it was a result of the hit, but his hockey sense was about a -5 last night. Bad decisions and soft on the puck. Not saying he's a bust or anything, but he was pretty terrible last night.

Love Couturier.

Can you no longer provide cash in a trade? If not then maybe force a team to take him with another player they really want, or maybe if a team needs to reach the cap floor they'd take him.

Throw in Voynov and a 2nd and we have a deal. We'll include Steve Coates.

What an incredible game to take in live. The fight was evident. I told my wife that whoever scored the 1st goal in the 3rd period would win the game. The Flyers go out and score twice... We are all going nuts, and then Hartnell gets lazy/stupid/whatever.

I was sitting in section 117 row 8.. Right where the puck DID NOT GO OUT OF PLAY. It LOUDLY clinked off of one of the dividers along the glass and right to Hartnell, who was to busy waving his hands to make a smart read. Instead he haphazardly (see careless) throws the puck behind his own net to.. well, we are all still trying to figure that out... and BOOM a come back seems to be crushed.

But nope.. Super G and his pals come to the rescue.

An incredible roller coaster ride.

It better be soon, because he was god awful last night. My fear is that he will only be able to do that on a line with G though.. Scary thought.

All his fault, 100%. Never mind that the defensemen got beat, that Mason didn't make the save, or that the center didn't skate hard back to the middle ("Fraud is lazy!"). It is 100% Hartnell's fault.

Most obnoxious fans in the city. I actually had a guy wanting to fight me for calling him on it after a Flyers game. Well, he waved his gorilla arms menacingly and I just smiled and told him to be quiet, I was on the phone.

I won't lie: I turned it off after the second out of frustration. My wife and I were watching the Pens game of NHL Network, and she said, "The Flyers are tied 4-4." I asked her 3 times if she was serious. I pulled up the game on my phone and saw there was 1:38 left. I decided I'd give it a minute and watch OT, and ended up turning it on to see 5-4 with 30 seconds left. Not wanting to tempt fate, I quickly switched back to the Pens and followed the countdown on my phone. I regret nothing.
- jmatchett383

I did the same exact thing, it was a long day at work so I figured i'd go to sleep early, checked my phone when it was 4-4 and figured turning it back on would only curse them. Needless to say i wound up staying up till i could see the highlights.

I've been reading Scott Hartnell's new novel Hartnell Down for the last six weeks. Really difficult read but definitely worth it.

You're probably from Western PA, so I understand your difficulty in getting through the book.

How wasnt it. He was so busy worrying about a (rightful) non-whistle that he spins the puck behind the net to the Jacket forward who circles behind the net and kicks it in front for a goal.

But you are right there fella. Hartnell was only 97% at fault.
