I doubt any band stepped further away from traditional music and made it sound so great then Floyd. You dont have to be a stonner, or even an occasional smoker to listen, but if you are.... then you will get it.

18 year old me used to sit in basement with a "water pipe" and listen to floyd with windows media player's screensaver. All those colorful squiggly lines!!!!!!!

Division Bell tour in Philly was my second concert. I was 11 and got a crazy contact high.

First time I saw them live was the 87 show at the old JFK stadium. They opened with echoes, I was extremely wasted. It was frankin awesome!!!

I'm an engineer and think that Norse Mythology is real, and love Skyrim. I love the Hyborain books (at least the REH ones) and want to live in some icy wilderness in Norway or Iceland. So I'm fairly nerdy.

That said, I just don't find the humor funny, content aside. Just my personal feelings on it. And the constant laugh track every 2 words drives me insane.

haven't heard his name and don't know that he made the squad. I recall Bill thinking he wouldn't.

That's what I hear. I want to do Iceland, Norway, and Sweden. And I want to go to the Cascades too.

Its my opinion. You cant tell me my opinion is wrong. If I said it was fact... you could say it was wrong. You can disagree, but that would be your opinion.

IMO Rush=

i've had the pleasure of traveling all of scandinavia (and finland, which is not techincally scandinavian), and lived in stockholm. it was a fantastic adventure. highly recommended.

i've never been to the cascades, but nearby. i'm sure they're worth a visit.

If you could move anywhere in the USA, and anywhere in the World for beauty alone... Where would it be.

For me..
USA... St. Augustine Florida. Old Spanish buildings, sunsets on the water... Just perfect.

For World: New Zeland. Yes. Lord of the Rings. Most beautiful place I have ever seen.

you're welcome to your opinion that rush is terrible. i'm saying that all of their songs don't sound alike. not debatable.

I'm kinda locked right now with the baby girl. But once mommy and daddy are free, I want to do one of the 4. Finland I'm pretty "meh" on. My wife doesn't wanna do the Cascades because she's convinced we'll be eaten by bears (which is a possibility). I'd love to do Scandinavia (minus Denmark).

My dad used to say "All your songs sound the same," when I listened to punk. Then he actually listened and found a few that he liked, so...I think that's kinda relevant.

Ive learned that people either get Rush or they don't. How anyone can think that 2112 and Snakes and Arrows sound alike is beyond me though.

Well, to the untrained ear a lot of Punk does sound alike. The majority of puck is the same 3 cords and similiar drum beats, at about the same pace.
