I'm listening to Michael Buble Let It Snow right now.

- Scoob

Buble is weird to me. I really like a lot of 40s music, and he's a very good approximation of it, but it just feels like a reproduction. Not but, but it doesn't feel authentic.

It's not you Michael, it's me.

I'm just not a huge Sabbath fan. I know it's required, but I'm not.

i was more of a fan of ozzy with randy rhodes than sabbath

Look at the suspensions handed out this year and the salary of the player.
You will see a negative correlation between lengthy suspensions and high salaries.
Grinders, agitators are paid peanuts. They engage physically a lot more than pure snipers and goal scorers. Basically, your salary is related to your role and contribution (Hartnell is the exception.)

- Chris48

i understand this. i do appreciate the hartnell joke though haha. but yeah man im having a hard time seeing where we are in disagreement here. he simply is doing no one any favors by playing this way. if it was up to me hed still be suspending for the knee on ratdouche

So...when are we burning down the church???

Also, love Danzig, but it was funny as hell when Danny from North Side Kings one-punch knocked him out cold after Danzig got up in his face.

- jmatchett383

Always someone better , bigger, tougher, faster, stronger.

I rank his work Samhain, Danzig, Misfits though obviously The Misfits are what he is known for.. Just saw him live again this summer and Johnny Kelly (from Type O Negative) has been his drummer for awhile. Good times..

As for Emperor..they are touring this year and I am so heading to Europe to see it and burn some churches.

I still can't believe they won that game in regulation. Giroux finally looked like the elite player we were waiting to see.

I'm not sure why Voracek and G feel so comfortable with Raffl. Perhaps they feel less inclined to worry defensively because they know he'll be in good position if they both go down low.

Maybe we can get together and listen to some Athiest too. Maybe some virgin sacrifices to go along with some church burnings.

Although my favorite black metal band is, of course, the Black Satans.

That and there's a bit of Jagr in him, the way he can hold onto the puck and make a play. Hartnells playmaking/passing skills are abysmal.

Indiana Jones is completely irrevelent to the outcome of the movie... If Indy never goes looking for the Ark, the Nazi's find it, still take it to the island, open it and all die.

But your going to say, that Indy found the Ark. But if he never took the medalion the Nazi's would have it and would have been diggin in the right spot.

Finally you might say if it wasnt for Indy the Ark wouldnt have ended up in the "warehouse:. But considering he was sent to get the Ark for a Mesuem, this too was an epic fail.

As for Revelance... they brought up Indy, and I brought up the plot holes.

- youarewrong

Without IJ, the Ark never ends up in the possesion on the US. More Nazis come to retreive the Ark, possibly die, possibly harness it or possibly unleash Armegeddon. The main point being is that the Ark did not end up with Nazis.....Top. Men.

And Your Bird Can Sing is probably my all-time favorite!

It's simple, for me:

1. The Beatles
2. Pink Floyd
3. Led Zeppelin
4. Elton

British Invasion ftw

Scoreacek is more akin to Jags than G.

More akin to Jags than most other players in the league, honestly. Jake just muscles the puck to where it needs to go, and uses his ass to shield it from defenders. Fun to watch when he's on his game.

Raffl is really fast. He negated an icing last night, and just has the wheels to join the play even when he gets out of position, which is rare.

After the 2nd Caps game I thought OK, Jake is going to shoot first and become that top line, all star, mini Jagr he was turning into last season. Then last night he is right back to looking pass first, even when it isn't there. It turned into a shortie against.

There was a breakaway with Jake and G about half way through last night, where they passed the puck back and forth something like five times. "You take, no you take it". I thought I was going to lose my mind. I sounded like the neanderthals at the rink yelling "shoot".

Then in the third both of them made up their mind to shoot. It was great to see.

OK back to musicbuzz and planet of the apes. Sorry for the interruption.
