I can tolerate a short term but it won't be, the Leafs usually make mistake when resigning players.

I have no problem with 7x7 for a few reasons.

Phaneuf is fairly young despite what his hairline suggests.

The cap is going up to 71 next season and that isn't even with Rogers ridiculous TV deal in place. And in 2-3 years 7 mil is likely a steal.

I will say we can't give him a no movement clause.

I'm yanking your chain man, I'm just a security guard, if I worked for Revenue Canada I doubt I'd be driving a 2003 Grand AM.
- Rayven

I know your just bugging me but we were on the topic so I thought explain how it worked for most serving industries. I'm just here to share the knowledge. What security company do you work for?

I'm not worried about the minutes, you can do it by committee like a lot of other teams do.

I get it, some people really like him and think it is impossible to live without him on the D, I don't. He simply is not worth the cost and term it is going to cost us, imo.

I think I have gone over this ad nauseam.

- LeafMan

Even though I want him back I agree with this point too Leafman, the issue though is where are we getting another 2 D from?

Also I'd rather pay Phaneuf 7 than Franson at 4+.... that's a bad contract.

It
was phaneuf who came across late to his opposite side to bale out whoever wasnt doing their job... and Hanzal could hardly get a good shot off.. it was a weak shot along the ice

You know what your getting with Phaneuf, Franson is still a bit of a wildcard.

He needs help, he cant do alone.

I didn't see the game. But lately which ever side of the Phaneuf debate your on dictates how the play was seen.

I just got an 8000 bonus on a hand written cheque from my boss, not taxed as far as I can tell, do I have to claim this?
- Bigzby

Technically boss is supposed to make deductions and withhold payroll burden. But if he didn't it'll depend upon whether it shows up on your T4. If your t4 includes the 8000 and he didn't deduct taxes than it's up to you.

Looks like a very English display.
1) Sectioned the street off.
2) Useless device in the background.
3) No passers by are interested at all.
4) Guy who has spent his whole life trying to break coconuts fails miserably.

True enough... i am okay with the people that dont want to pay the big bucks (although i disagree) but the ones that took 2 years to stop harping and then start again after one bad game drive me nuts

Agreed. It's funny when you get others team posters coming into to stick up for Phaneuf.

Does anyone know of any good back yard rink resurfacing products? My new house has a 35' x 45' pond, that we were skating on this past week (prior to today's rain) but the ice was rough in spots, and not not even.
