u have 7 D men
one of them is worth 7
now if u remove the one worth 7, and u put in 2 guys that are worth a bit more money but overall are better than dion by himself...is the team better?

Your MATH still doesn't work.
But yes depending on who you could get (math aside) you may be correct. |

i dont understand what the contradiction is
his first olympics he was too green .. shouldnt of been there.. by the next olympics he had 4 world cups under his belt..and a few spenglers as well i belive. he wasnt green anymore when it came to pro international tourneys.
there is no contradiction - Dozzer
Technically Hall has more world tournament experience than Nash did before his first Olympics appearance, currently (though different types of players) their skill sets are not far apart, basically a wash.
Do you take the currently more experienced player, knowing it might be his last go at an Olymipcs, or do you take the young equally as talented guy, knowing you are also grooming him for the next 2 - 3 tournaments? |

fixed.
Why assume he's automatically going to be bad?
Guy's a top-15 d-man, easily. Possibly top-10.
Has been for a couple of years now.
Think that's just going to change because he signs a contract? - Feeling Glucky?
How? History, after he resigned with Calgary he was garbage.
If you want to watch his half ass attempts to go back and get the puck, players flying by him to the outside, constant giveaways, one handed lazy pokes at the puck, fumbles clear outs then be prepared for another 8 years of mediocrity because that is what you will get.
You can't win with him as your number one, we aren't now nor will we. |

Sad to hear that RC has not lost the team. He should take them for a long walk in the woods and, you know, lose them. |

dude i understand the math, im saying if u spend a mil or 2 more for 2 D men then you would for 1 D men id figure the team would better as long as these 2 guys u get are better overall....it moves teh depth line down...so you dont need a Ranger or Fraser type D man..(example). |

He should take em for a run in the woods like Denzel did in Remember the Titans, it fixed that team... |
