Paul Stewart's blog on the Wilson hit on Schenn is another must-read.

Id say Ryan Kesler is what he might become if everything pans out. Whats a more likely comparable player?
- FrmRusiaWifGlov

Mike Richards.
He'll captain Canada to a World Junior Gold.
He'll win a Memorial Cup with his junior team.
He'll help the Phantoms win a Calder Cup (well, maybe?)
He'll become Flyers Captain and lead them to the SCF.
He'll be traded to LA and, along with his best friend Tyler Leier, help the Kings win a Cup.

It's written in stone.

So many inappropriate examples of blaming the victim mentality...

Must resist posting them...

Trueness. It's in him. He oozes talent. Seems to have the drive. Those players don't develop to their potential in a year or two though.

Hey, I just trade Wayne Simmonds and B. Schenn for him and Hyka and call it a day for my forwards...after trading bare bones for Jagr, of course.

Ima come to you house and kick your scrying bowl out the screen door, over the picket fence, across the alley, off the neighbors garage door and into the bent up trash can.

The media would actually have things to write about, instead of inventing them.

Oh, who am I kidding?

just start naming all my favorite players,
this is great

what about Toews?
that'd be OK

Is Datsyuk too much of stretch... probably getting carried away now

He'll likely never be Datsyuk or Toews. His ceiling is a Richards/Bergeron type.

Odds are more of Max Talbot's 11/12 season. Or a poor man's John Maclean.

Actually, I think Mike Peca might be a better dead-on comparison if I were a betting man.

Hey, if he turns out to be a 20/35 guy who plays to a Selke level, I'll love it.

He'll fill out to be a much bigger and stronger Michael Peca I hope.
