Does being an Islanders fan qualify you for government subsidies towards health insurance? Thank god pre-existing conditions are covered now...I need some major psychiatric help given the mental abuse this team gives its fans on a daily basis..

Probably only a matter of time under this administration?

i should talk to your coach, that sounds a bit extreme.

Yeah, as long as your battle level was high and you practiced well he should have praised you. Oh, and everyone gets a trophy because there are no losers!

Why not? Be careful what you say though. Look what you did to Moulson.

We can all blame LGI for Moulson no longer being with us? He also has 12 goals on the season now Lets sign him and vanek

Good afternoon to you all,

After watching the game last night, I was very happy with what I saw until two minutes left in the third period. Hell broke loose and that's what I expected to see. Is that sad or what? I can see how Clutterback played differently when he is being put on line with Strome. Unfortunately, Bailey didn't fare well as he did last year but I know that he can be really good. Maybe it is just because he is in islanders uniform I don't know. I love Vanek and He does make some good plays. The problem with Islanders is that we know how to get there but just can't complete the task. That's the problem with Islanders.

Yes, according to LetsGoIsles he is quite the insider...
exactly what you think it means.

edit: it means i knew moulson was going to be traded and i knew klesla wasnt going to be claimed and its not because i follow incarcerated bob on twitter.

- LetsGoIsles

This one was good...

thats not a great idea...trading one or 2...maybe.

coach has got to go and the hardest part for me is that i have ability for my voice to be heard by the big boys...

Fear? I'm laughing that management would let a clown like you in their office to discuss players. They're dumber than I thought? How did you keep your hands off Snow(in a sexual way of course)? Again, tell the story or it's not true. Again, even if you do I don't believe it anyway but tell us for the comedic value of it all.

Amen Dan. I've been a die hard fan of this team for a very long time and I've never been this frustrated. In the past, there was always an excuse as to why the suck. There is no excuse now. My kids asked the other night if they have to be a fan of this team. A few years ago I would've told them absolutely, it's in our blood. When they asked recently I just said to find a team that they like and start following them. I can't do this to my own kids.

I just relented the other night and told my 5 yr old he could root for the rangers if he wanted to. I can't put him through the same misery I have endured for the last 20 plus years

" I know what this fan base is capable of and how much they want to win. I just wish the people that are in charge would show that they care as much as each and every one of you."

I don't want them to show anything at this point. Continue doing nothing and hopefully they'll just go away. It's the only chance this team has long term.

it certainly doesnt help...no free agent says, i want to sign on long island so 15 thousand fans can call me out when i miss on 1 (frank)ing shootout attempt.
- LetsGoIsles

I was at the game last night and I didn't even realize they were chanting it. it was about 40 kids sitting in loudville players don't come here because the franchise is a train wreck all around. That's why players in demand with options never come here end of story

The islanders are incapable of beating anyone. They have five regulation wins in 35 games. Five. If they lose every game the rest of the year, I don't think it would surprise me (I'm kidding, but only half-kidding)

I'm hoping my kid picks the Red Wings or Bruins. As much as I don't want him to suffer as a lifelong Islander fan, I would like him to uphold the family tradition of hating the Rangers.

Knowing the Rangers, they will probably find away to win tonight, when no one expects it, get all of us Rangers' fans excited, and then drop a 3-2 decision to the Islanders on Friday, which will then result in reenewed calls for an immediate tear down and rebuild of the roster.

So, you don't want to put him through the same misery you've gone through, and you are going to let him be a Rangers' fan? I would encourage him to pick some easy team to root for, like the Red Wings or Pens.

In all seriousness, i expect the islanders to come out like gang busters on friday, after that, all bets are off.

I wouldn't bet on it. Even if they did they only play 50-55 minutes a game. So just wait for it.
