Still pissed his ticket to get in was bogus. |

yeah yeah ha ha. Italians are dumb because they say gravy instead of sauce. Whatever, it is just referred to as gravy...it doesnt get switched out with sauce for other things. They dont take each others places in the english language for Italians. You just say "Brown gravy" at thanksgiving or wherever else you'd use THAT kind of gravy. - BlazinMike
Bottom line I love gravy and sauces equally, lol |

Seems low, i thought he was gonna get some BIG TIME money. figured he'd get signed by them though and not get to free agency. |

Unless they figure this might be a career year for him. |

So much for his earlier comments on how he won't negotiate a new contract during the season.

I thought it was a tad high too. He is a great hockey player but I have a bed reserved for him in sick bay. I really like the kid and I knew his Dad really well back in Winnipeg. Great family. |

Check back next season. Maybe Teravainen grabs that job? - EKolb13
Would suggest that TT needs to "Finnish" strong in his league and if there is any doubt that he can adjust quickly to the NHL, he could always go to Rockford. I realize that he is an elite talent but to step in and contribute as a top six forward, Bowman would not want him struggling half a season or longer learning lessons like Morin has endured. A short while ago our latest update on TT said that he had been sort of struggling putting up points, and his team was struggling as well, in fact, they fired their coach. So I am just hoping to see TT finish strong.
Here is an idea maybe worth consideration. It has to do a lot with how much Q will play Morin when he is here due to injury. If Morin is not ever going to get much playing time here, you could explore his interest on the market. I know, I know you are chuckling, ho ho ho not much for him. Well, likely correct and really, I wish to keep him for depth a la True Grit reasoning.
But I did notice a former #1 with maybe career high 21 TOI for Calgary against Boston in M. Backlund & Calgary last gp. Backlund is a good skater (important) and has never broke out scoring wise. He has not been a good fit on lines in his Calgary tenure, although in preseason at least once both Inginla and Backlund lit it up. Backlund could be depth, could be fourth line and could do well on PK? Calgary is not going anywhere in standings with Backlund. Morin can be tested as a scoring wing on the cheap until a draft comes in or they draft a new scorer. Burke would like Morin's style. |

We truly have it good as Hawks fans right now. If anyone doesnt believe it, or wants to complain about the team, just take a look at the following quote i found in one of the Islanders message boards from earlier today...i truly feel bad for this guy:
"Amen Dan. I've been a die hard fan of this team for a very long time and I've never been this frustrated. In the past, there was always an excuse as to why the suck. There is no excuse now. My kids asked the other night if they have to be a fan of this team. A few years ago I would've told them absolutely, it's in our blood. When they asked recently I just said to find a team that they like and start following them. I can't do this to my own kids" |

As much as I hate him Smith should get number 3. Harding is a nice story but he may be too late in the game for consideration.
Pierre Lebrun thinks Sharp may have a spot. - paulr
I would be very surprised if Sharp doesn't make the team.

Dude - your Mother is Italian. Don't you know the difference between sauce and gravy? Gravy you put on biscuits and mashed potatos. Get it right son! - powerenforcer
Simply put for all the non Italian friends...
Gravy is made from meat...sauce is not.
Marinara is a sauce as it is without meat.

No. he needs to rest. LOL. It would be a great honor for Sharp and he is exactly the kind of player who I think would be a great asset for Team Canada. It going to be so hard rooting against them with all our boys on Team Canada. |

Yeah, but at the same time, us long time Hawk fans had to go through some dark times with this team. So, screw the Islanders. |

Nice bump for less than half of a season of excellence.
Of course Hawks extended Bickel based on 23 games. |

Yes...
I think Luongo has played well enough to hold the #1 job going in but he will be on a short leash.
