What makes you think that Raanta is ready to take Crawford's job? Given, he's done alright in Crawford's absence, but to declare him as the future starting goaltender of this team is kind of a reach.

Taking in the fact about how he has played so far, miller will take us through the playoffs hopefully to another cup, and he will get more than enough starts in the regular season on the way. Im not saying that he is ready right now but with a split start season until the end of the year, probably next year depending on who we can sign for cheap. It would be a better option than being tied down to CC for the next 6 years. I really hate that contract and think it will be a real b i t c h three years down the road.
