Interesting to see actual names attached to rumors. Hard to believe the Flyers haven't been busy. I guess there aren't many takers at this point that Homer is willing to get fleeced by because he certainly has to be trying. |

He is probably feeling everything out. You guys have been turning it up and he likely doesn't want to mess with whats working... right now. If you guys go on a 5 game skid or something I could see him hitting the panic button. |

Doesn't kick in until July 1st. |

Let me add that the Cancuks or Leafs are NOT going to trade for a guy who has a cap hit of 4.75 mil, and 8 points.
The Canucks already have an oft-injured player on the roster who's drastically underperformed. Booth also has a lower cap hit, and term. There is NO way either team makes this move - no way.

Yeah... The Leafs don't trade for those guys, they just wait until free agency. |

I know you are out East but have you heard any rumours (besides that ridiculous Ruutu one) about the Canucks? ANY CHANCE they go after Kane? |

I don't see the Bruins trading for Kane. Eriksson looks like he is going to be out a long time so they need to find a replacement. Hemsky is more likely because he would cost a pick and maybe a low level prospect. Bruins can't afford to ship roster players out of town right now. A Kane for Marchand+ deal could be revisited this summer. |

I would be ecstatic if the blues traded for hartsy. I have a hard time believing anyone actually would go out of their way to get him though, inconsistent would be the kindest way to describe his play over this season and last |

I don't think the Devils will want to move him after just acquiring him |

I heard a rumor that the Blues would get a blogger on here again.
Then I found out that it was false. Typical.

Hartnell has a iron clad No Movement Clause. You're gonna have to get him to waive it. I'd be all for it, too. Still, he says he's happy where he is at. God knows he's been questioned. |

his problem is where they put him.. he is a very good 2nd line power winger.. but instead they insist on putting him on the top line where he had one oustanding year playing with 2 incredible playmakers.. unfortunately jake is not the passer jagr is and giroux cant do it by himself...so hartsy's numbers reflect that since.
insulate him behind a true top line in st louis (or even in philly if they got proper wingers to play with giroux), where he draws slightly more favorable matchups and his numbers would go way up IMO. |

Been waiting since '07 to hear someone interested in hartnell.
I find it very hard to believe, but praying to god someone (anyone) will take him. Seriously, just take him, no charge. |
