Okay. How about "Step right up folks, and make your prediction for the Flyer who's poopy playing tonight and, in general, recently, will be most talked about tomorrow!"

Works for me. Has a carnival feel to it!

Yeah, he had that dominating game where he played, what, 32 minutes?

I still think Luke Schenn can be a player.

We'll dump him, like JVR, then he'll take the next step in his development. It's inevitable.

We could play a quick game of "Trade/Bag Skate/Fire".

Trade: Scott Hartnell
Bag skate: Brayden Schenn
Fire: HOLMGER

- johndewar

Hate that idea.

On a side note, did anyone see the Maurice Clarett 30 for 30. Ohio State treated him like poop. Your comment reminded me because on top of being suspended and having to obtain a 3.5 GPA, the university forced him to run sprints. Mandated sprints by the university!

Hope so... my biggest concern is his footspeed is really bad in a league that keeps getting faster. Obviously positioning and reading the play well can help with that but it's a big handicap to start out with.

Didn't see the Clarett one.

I just saw the Iverson one for the first time and was pretty impressed with it. Those 30 for 30 docs have been uneven, IMO.

And I don't really want to see BSchenn get bagskated. I was making a poor joke because I'm tired from avoiding work and doing Christmas shopping all day.

Keys to tonight's game:

1. GROW A PAIR
If you get a lead, keep it coming. If you fall behind, turn it up a notch. And, when and if the Caps score a goal, instead of rolling over like a whipped dog, act like men and get one right back!!

2. DISCIPLINE, DISCIPLINE, DISCIPLINE!!
The entire Caps comeback started when the Flyers took a bad penalty. Use your friggin heads and don't give Ovie and the boys a bunch of pp opportunites!

3. CONTROL THE PACE
Watch the tape of the 2nd period of the last game. Repeat!!

Go Flyers!!

- BiggE

Key to tonight's game.

1. Do not screen your goalie because you're trying to block everything.

2. Do not deflect everything into the net because you're trying to block everything.

3. Keep it simple.

I really enjoy most of the 30 for 30s. ESPN doesn't do much well, but I do like the 30 for 30s and their collegiate athletics coverage.

As a hockey fan, you may like the one on the Islanders being sold to a guy with no money and the Gretzky/Oilers saga.

I take it that's a "liberal" jab although, as I stated, I have very few liberal views. But let's not open up that again.

If you want to vent or criticize, that's fine. I have no issue with that. But it's this constant fickleness of "TRADE HIM NOW!" to "WOW, HE'S BEEN GREAT!" back to "TRADE HIM FOR J-BO" back to "HE'S BEEN GREAT AGAIN!" that I can't stand. If a guy frustrates you that's okay. But that constant demanding of trading players and then saying how we're lucky to have him is what gets me.

- jmatchett383

I think with Hartnell and looking at the team make up, they are heavy on grinders at forward and have an abundance of defense first D, but lack forward finishing skill and puck moving defenseman.

If by trading Hartnell you can fix some of the balance needed to win, then you have to look at it.

I personally would rather keep Simmonds over Hartnell if given the option. Just because of age and the contract and their role on the team.

I'd love them to be able to keep everyone and fix things through the draft but that won't happen given the front office.

The one called "Broke" kinda fell flat for me and should have been better.

I remember the Gretzky one. That was a good one.

Would you guys do Couts and Simmonds for Subban? Montreal is going to be in some cap hell and Subban will likely be getting close to 9 million, and I bet Markov will be getting between 7.5-8 million. Sign Heatley cheap in offseason.

nahh... If St. Louis really does have interest in Hartnell then retain 500k-1mil of his salary and add anything to him that you need to get Shats. Cheaper money wise and asset wise.

If there is a trade to be made that will help the team both now and in the future (extreme example: 7th rounder for Shea Weber), then make it. I'm all for it. If a player isn't playing well, then feel free to comment on it and voice your displeasure. Again, it's the constant fickleness ranging from belittling him and demanding he be given away ASAP to beaming about his fantastic play and viewing his as a key piece that gets to me.

Not really following your argument here.

Colorado have $59,749,194 of deadline cap space. Hopefully they will be up for renting Kimmo.
- Feanor

Kimmo strikes me more as that final piece for a team that doesn't mind mortgaging the future... Colorado doesn't seem to fit that MO.

If I were them, I'd sniff around Andrew MacDonald, Nikita Nikitin or Kris Russell... I wouldn't mind giving up draft picks for a young-ish guy that I could re-sign and keep moving forward.

I'd take Subban in a second.

If he was on the Flyers I think everyone would love him.
