Schenn turned a little, but that was a totally uncalled for hit. Very dirty play. I just watched it a few more times, Wilson was skating at a very high rate of speed.

for as far and fast Wilson came at Schenn and for a guy his size, Schenn had no chance not to go flying into the boards. it was just a stupid reckless dangerous hit. these players will never get it. its going to take a player breaking their neck and even then many still won't learn

The NHL should implement this rule. When an illegal hit causes injury, the suspension runs congruent with the amount of time the injured player misses.

That would cut down on this garbage. These 2 game suspensions don't deter poop.
