Heck their best draft might of been the original 67 expansion draft: Joe Watson, Van Impe, Parent and Dornhoefer, not a bad haul

I'd go with 1972.

771 NHL goals scored by the first 4 picks. Barber, Bladon, Jim Watson & Al MacAdam

gripes hit the f'n net. and Giroux has to stop calling for the puck on the cross ice pass when he's covered and standing still

The Flyers powerplay at home: Gripping sticks a little too tightly.

Good call, forgot about MacAdam. If I recall, he was part of the deal to acquire Reggie Leach

Yep, was a very good NHLer. 1978 was a good one for the Flyers, too, getting the Rat & Big Behn

That whole sequence was just ugly.

Flyers need LeCavalier back. That 2nd line is a bunch of Neanderthals.

terrible penalty to take, and no doubt a high stick, but for christs sake ovi acted like he was hit with a sledgehammer. helped off the ice and all, and i'm positive that only clipped his visor

I reversed that play back slowly and Coburn's stick was nowhere near OV's face when he rolled over.

Bad selling job and the ref bought it.

Yep. Timonen got lucky that he missed a lot of OV's face. Could have split his face open for a bloody 4 minute extendo.

Dive or not, he high-sticked him.

No idea what Kimmo was doing, Im pretty certain it was intentional.

You guys see Getzlaf get boarded from behind? I think that play is thee definition of players putting themselves in a vulnerable position. There needs to be more responsibility to the player's own positioning.
