So many Pro athletes suffer from uncontrollable dbaggery it seems.
But Im sure the drunken bar crowd was incredibly polite after the beatdown the canucks just gave them.
This is vancouverites lets not forget...
To be fair, he probably shoulda known better to go out, but must be annoying not bein able to peacefully party in ur hometown just cause ur team beat them a few years back |

Nah! Give him some time to build up some momentum in the AHL. Bring Fedun up and give him the chance to play another game. Belov likely gets back in first though. |

Gagner in Edmonton is the same issue as Hodgson in Buffalo... both are #2 Centers who will average between 40-50 pts in a full, healthy season. Problem is, they're both expected to produce #1 statistics and it isn't going to happen. This is harder for Hodgson, due to less talent surrounding him than Gagner has alongside him (regardless of which line he plays on, except the 4th).
So, I'll offer up Ville Leino and Brayden McNabb for Sam Gagner and Linus Omark. I love McNabb, tough and physical blueliner with some offensive upside. His biggest problem is his skating and lack of NHL experience. Big-time upside in that kid. I'm only willing to part with him if the Oilers agree to take Leino out of Buffalo. Otherwise, best I can do is Alex Sulzer for Linus Omark. - djc1877
lol. Dump Leino's poopty contract on EDM.
if Gagner's going to BUF, then Ehrhoff will be coming back. Add what you will to EDM's side |

Yeah i remember you wanted bishop last year when bishop was an unproven backup...no wait...everyone valued him as an unproven backup last year. Sometimes players breakout in ways that GMs should not be expected to predict.
The likelihood that Bishop is a star in two years - heck even the likelihood that he's a starter in 5 years is still historically quite low - Morris
That and Haymac has a Crystal Ball or came from the Future like the Terminator or simply knows pro-goalie scouting better than everyone else. Besides, Lightning paid a much, much , heavier price that we could at the time. |

If we're looking at trades for top pairing D, first you have to take away the teams that are in playoff contention. Second, you have to take away the young D they're building around. Third, you have to take away cornerstone players like Shea Weber that are never going to get moved.
IMO, here's what you're left with.
Columbus - Wizniewski, Tyutin, Johnson
Philadelphia - Coburn
Florida - Campbell, Kulikov
Buffalo - Ehrhoff, Myers
Dallas - Goligoski
Winnipeg - Bogosian, Enstrom, Byfuglien
If we were looking at a trade for a Dman, it's one of those 12 players. - Morris
You are as wise as that (frank)ing Obi Wan guy.

How do you value Marincin? What would you expect in return for him? How about Klefbom? |

I'd take that, but that wasn't quite the point of my post I think they'd prefer our 1st, though. |

are you saying gagner and the 1st, or just 1st alone? in my eyes, thats an overpayment for ehrhoff. if another young stud comes back along with ehrhoff i would consider it. |

Just the 1st for Ehrhoff. We'd likely need to add a little, though (Gernat or perhaps Marincin). |

Crystal ball not required. Bishop was 8-5, 9.22 with a 2.55 GA on a so-so Sens Team. Some NHL commentators thought he had "starter" potential. In fact, on HNIC one of the panel (forget who---Weekes maybe) who thought the Oil should go out and make a deal with Ottawa to get Bishop or Lehner, though it was thought that Lehner would be retained. The mighty Oil couldn't offer more than Jones and a 4th? |

1st and marincin.
for me, i would be on super selling mode on that 1st with absolutely no intentions of keeping it. last few years, gms may ask for the 1st in return from edm and mact or tamby prob say no, how about something else instead. this year's convo, if teams ask for the 1st, i push to sell it and ask for more rather offering less. |

Actually, MacT offered Jones and a 2nd, but the Sens wanted Jones and 2 2nds or PRV and a 2nd. That was as per Bob Stauffer a couple months back. |

at this present moment, who would you acquire? prv and a 2nd for bishop or perron? |
