A change of scenery is for the best. It isn't his fault he has played in front ofba terrible team his entire career. Like to see him go the Curtis Mc route as he is better than an AHL level goalie. At this point though he is screwed in Edmonton.

I explained this on the last thread, but the only time I remember a team cashing in on a future consideration was when Sather left Rem Murray unprotected in an expansion draft and the new team agreed not to take him as part of a past trade that owed Esmonton a consideration. I suppose a future consideration could be not claiming off waivers, agreeing not to offer sheet a teams player, maybe flipping a 4th and 5th draft pick....I think the Habs agreed to a pre-season game in Edmonton a few years back but if I'm not mistaken it was for hiring Claude Julien when he was coach of the Bulldogs, who Edm and MtL shared at the time. Basically it's some backroom BS.

I don,t think so. Crosby is more gifted offensively but Toews is a better all round player. I am pretty sure if you asked all of the GM's in the league as to which player they would choose to build around , it would be surprisingly even.

Well another victory for sissy sports.......MLB announce today.....no hitting catchers any more and catchers can no longer block the plate......are sports in general entirely run by lawyers and fags now? WTF !!!

I understand Dub has bad games but I don't get how no one blames the oilers forwards and D for that game last night and a lot of other games. If I was Dub I would have broke my stick over one of the oilers head. I hope we get a legit #1 goalie and 15 games into next year he says f uck this poop I want a trade, no one back checks or takes/gives a hit or clears the puck after the original save. Everyone says no one has confidence in Dub while I think its the other way around for Dub in the oilers to. 4 0 and its Dubs fault, DONT FING MAKE ME LAUGH. I pray we trade him so he can show his skill behind a real team.
