What a game one of the few 60 minute games this year. Now if we could get our power play going and not last place we will start being dangerous! |

Whinchester stepped in for Huberdeau and played great. Any news on Huby and Thomas? I hope this continues, first comes getting back to .500 then pushing for the wildcard if they somehow can keep this up and HOpEFuLLy do something they never do and buy buy buy at the deadline. Yeah I know, it's too much to ask for. |

Huberdeau's foot is swollen as a result of a blocked shot against the Caps.. tried to go last night but couldn't skate effectively. We got the win and will need him against the Leafs. HUGE GAME! |

I'm glad I would've been disappointed if that ended up being his return. As bad a he started this year he has played pretty damn good before and he is still very young. Giving up on him now would really come back to haunt us.
It is amazing what a benching can do for a player plus a talk with captain poolside he is really starting to look like his old self. I wish coaches would bench struggling young players more often it's like they fear if they do they will demand a trade... |

He would be a great fit for us, he is would we need a 30 goal scorer. The price scares me thou... Would be nice if they wanted our first rounder. I want to trade that with someone to bring in a real impact player to help fill out our top 6.
Huberdeau-Bjugstad-insert 30 goal scorer
Flash-Barkov-Upshall/Bergenheim
That looks pretty nice to me. Thought I'm sure flash would most like be going the other way. So fill that with Trocheck if so. |

Av fans are still very high on Elliott, lots of potential in him, didnt like the deal either since we could be losing him and a risk of losing Kulikov as well if he bolts to the KHL. |

Kulikov has shown no interest in leaving for the KHL. I know that doesn't mean much but the Russian factor is kind of dumb. Could happen with anybody if you ask me. And like I said I don't want to part with kulikov because he has all the skill in the world just has to put it together.
Plus I'm more worried about our Canadian boys running up north then our Russian ones running back east! |

I know he hasnt come out and say it since returning from the Lockout, but didnt he say if he didnt get signed or whatever at a certain date that he might of stayed over in the KHL? I thought I remember something to do with his delay returning once the lockout was over.
I think the Canadian boys like playing in the south or in Cali, usually keeps their women happy and dont have to deal with the idiot media we have up here ha. |

As far as I remember it was his agent that said that so could've just been using it as a way to get more money. I don't really remember a certain date thou. But just look at O'Reilly you know how that poop goes.
It's all about how much money you can rack in and whatever leverage you can use. |
