Oiler fans negative attitude towards other teams is bringing bad karma to your team, this sedin sister thing is so old, that's all you got? I guess that's the level of imagination when all you got to think about is shoveling snow.

everybody hates the nucks. it is what it is.

lived in whistler for awhile before I moved down to van. and there's snowboard bums from all over the country up there....alberta, Ontario, quebec, east coat etc.

and regardless whether they're leaf fans, hab fans, oiler fans, sens fans or whatever; the one thing they all have in common is that they hate the canucks.

I don't think it was always like this, but certainly much more over the course of the last 5 years when the canucks have been a good to elite team. and many (not all) of the teams fans have grown incredibly arrogant and act as if they have actually achieved something more than a couple presidents trophies. even the actual players themselves have a certain arrogant 'air' about them. but hey, maybe this is part of the winning culture they built in house..? but it still doesn't make it any easier to swallow.

however, i do think it's currently getting better with most nuck fans as they see this cores window slowly closing and with that a slice of humble pie and realism.

but it aint closed just yet imo.

it's grey with thick cloud cover here today. we can hardly see the mountains.

i love it here. as much for the proximity to whistler as anything else.

It sound so early 2000, 14 years ago, oh well, to quote some hockey hillbilly, it is what is, but one question, and oiler fans help me out, why did dubnyk play so solid during the Spangler cup, serious, he was like a wall back there, and I don't firmly believe it was cuause of the lack of talented opposition.

anyway, dubnyk isn't that horrible. he had a brutal October that was the biggest (but not the only) reason this team sunk out of the playoff race before they even had a chance to get going.
so now, even after some very good games, every mistake or blown point he has is magnified that much more.
he's a pro athlete getting paid millions, so it's not necessarily unfair. but how bad he IS has been abit overstated imo.
