The Blues dont have a typical "number 1 center" and they are doing just fine. I do agree that Hodgson is not a guy I want playing on my top line, but we basically are forcing him in that role.

Yes it does, cup contender or not you don't put that kind of pressure on a young player. You sign a stop gap for 2-3 years if that and go from there.

We would have to go 4 or more because of who this team is IMO. People say Brad Richards wouldn't give us the time of day and he didn't however, if the Rangers let him go and we grab him for 3 years and the money is right, he will listen now I bet.
