Sure...I'm sure they have a spare 2nd rounder to give Calgary. - Jeropotato
Yea, or hey they could save some assets and offer a 5th and a bucket of pucks for Hemskey.
You have no idea what you're talking about. |

God he SUCKS!! Hopefully Destroychuck stays in Boston until he is done. - glove_was_stuck
Agreed, although I think some players are going to have to be on the move this summer. With Chara, Seidenberg, Boychuk, Hamilton, and Krug all cementing the top 5 spots that leaves McQuaid, Miller and Bartkowski fighting for 1 spot and Morrow isn't too far off either.
God the Bruins are loaded for the next 5 years |

Baertschi, Backlund and our 2nd for E. Kane.... - TandA4Flames
Normally I ignore most that say trade Baertschi or Backlund, but I really like the look to this.
Especially if Kane can play right wing. I'm also not necessarily saying that the Jets will go for it, but seems good from a Flames stand point. Maybe add a lower draft pick coming from the Jets as well as that second rounder is going to be early in the second round.

Kypreos = Eklund - MTL1
So if Kypreos = Eklund, it's fair to say Eklund = Kypreos! Eklund and Kypreos are =...oh my!!!!!! Eklund is Kypreos!!! They are ONE!!!!!
So when he says according to my source...he's is own source!!! WOW it blows my mind! |

It's interesting that there are teams talking to Calgary right now because Burke has a self imposed trade freeze that started on the 9th and extends past Christmas. But then again I'm not an insider like EK. |

Both the St. Louis Blues (by Assistant GM Kevin McDonald and pro scout Rob DiMaio) and the Winnipeg Jets (by pro scout Peter Ratchuk) were represented at the Flyers game with the Canadiens last night. - iScoop
The Blues and Flyers have been sniffing around one another most of the season.
But any deal would have to have sufficient salary going back, the Blues do not have cap flexibility.
To me, this is a deal that has Chris Stewart written all over it, if not Patrick Berglund. |

what in holy hell could the rangers give in addition to del zotto (who isn't named chris kreider) to get evander kane from the jets? - Why So Serious
Well, we could easily offer a coach, a GM, or some combination in the package!!
........but I guess that would be of more interest to Calgary at the moment, but stay tuned because those guys are dropping like flies! |

So, I see the B's have surplus D and are in need of 2nd line wing help.
Can we do McGinn for either Boychuk or McQuaid? He is a big body who can score which fits right into Boston's system and we could use a punishing D-man with a bomb of a shot. |

I would think Stewart too but the Flyers already have two top 6 right wingers in Simmonds and Voracek plus Lecavalier played there a few games too. I doubt St. Louis would be moving any roster defensemen so these two teams don't seem like a good match. |

stepan and DZ to the jets for kane and big buff - Why So Serious
Done deal. I love Stepan but I've never seen him as a 1st line center and DZ is too soft. I'm not a big Kane fan but I would be ecstatic over this deal. |

McGinn doesn't solve the Bruins need for a second line winger. He would be a strong 3rd line winger on the Bruins team, we need someone with more scoring punch to fill the void left by the Eriksson concussion. |

Unless the Bruins are getting a legit top 6 winger, I just don't see them parting with current roster players. They'll use picks and prospects to get a rental player to fill the void. That has typically been their M.O. these past few years, minus the Peverley deal in '11 |

Just because he won't actually sign off on a trade until after Christmas, does in no way mean he isn't possibly still talking to teams. He could get all the ground work, and the dealing done and do all but sign it off until December 27th (past Christmas). Granted this assumes that the trading partner is willing to wait until then. |

He's on pace for 35 goals based on gms played and is a proven playoff performer. He's worth at least a late 1st +. |
