Some noise out there that Dave Poulin will end up as Calgary's GM

Interesting number:

Brayden Schenn leads the Flyers in "primary" points with 14. That's goals, plus primary assists. Giroux is second with 13

I loved the new Thor on Wednesday. And there were just 4 people in the theater, so the occasional inappropriate response from my developmentally challenged nephew did not result in a single grumpy staredown.

My 7 YO son has just discovered the Marvel movies and we've been mowing through them at home, so I'm glad to hear Thor 2 was good.

I would think so.

Someone on the board here brought his name up and I was embarrassed to have forgotten about Poulin's current role with the Leafs.

Yeah, even with the Burke connection, I never thought of Poulin as a seriosu candidate

I for one am sick of these Whigs and their constant blathering about Protectionism. We get it you need to restrict trade between the states to give domestically produced goods a chance to compete with imported goods blah blah blah.

Well let me tell you something! It's a globally free trading economy for me or nothing you oddly political party scumbags!

It's a bad thing if Schenn is leading our team in points, not a good thing. Jsaq wasn't saying anything one way or another, just pointing out an interesting stat.

It is frustrating to see Schenn leading this team in "those points" with the players on this team. If he was leading with like 40 points or 30 points it would be a different story. But we're 1/4 of the season in and Schenn's leading in those points at 14/15.

Yeah, and too bad Patrick Kane was off the board when the Flyers drafted. Kind of pathetic to complain about something that happened 7 years ago.

Yes. Because we have a difference of opinions of what exactly we are cheering, i am unable to grasp an idea based on my (actually less liberal than coservative if you'd actually ask me) views. Still don't think why me not wanting to give every American persona gun makes me a liberal.
- jmatchett383

Because you gotta be able to apply labels to make things easily identifiable so people can be quickly put into groups of us and them.

Heaven forbid people put more thought into issues beyond ideological talking points or what they hear fat talking heads spewing into their ears.

I haven't back read everything yet, but sounds like quite an interesting conversation was had yesterday, you country and freedom and capitalist and puppy and soft sheets and warm beds and baby smiles and new car smell hating hippie liberal socialist muslim commie!

Not only that but I'm pretty sure not all of kanes points are primary ones.
