Would it be a rush to bring him up next year? Seth Jones is playing this year....

In all seriousness, if people want to see these young guys develop, wouldnt it benefit to get them into the Pro's now? Will Morin be AHL eligable next season? If so, Morin, Hagg, and Ghost should be sent there, and Alt, Laurdsen, and Gus should be given Timonen's and Meszaros' spots.

Though I would hate to move on from Grossmann.

I think the idea is to not give them more than they can handle and demolish their confidence.

I'd think it would be rushing him, but knowing the Flyers he'll see the 9 games at least.

Morin is not AHL eligible. If they want to give him a taste, I'm not opposed to the 9 games (depending on what other moves are made). Hagg said he wants to spend this year and next year in the SEL. Ghost is AHL eligible the moment he decides he wants to turn pro. I think that Lauridsen and Alt will be given every opportunity to earn a spot next year during camp.

You seeing it?

I had the girl buy me tickets last night for the IMAX premiere.

Not too many movies that I actually feel swallowed up by, but that was one of them. Wonderful.

Well Gus is just about Pro now full time, so it shouldnt hurt him any. And Alt and Laurdesen both have 1 Year of AHL. With limited 3rd pairing minutes they should be fine.

I dont want them to play too cautious. If the right move isnt available in trade or freeagency, I wouldnt be opposed to rushing Morin.

As for Hagg, I would ask if he would be willing to come to AHL a year sooner to get him more NHL ready faster. To not develop too many bad habbits playing in SEL.

Ghost is now in his senior year right? I know he said he wanted to finish College... But I want to see this kid play darn it.

Awe man. Now I cant wait.... Too excited. I heard from the Woman from Rotten Tomatoes that its non-stop action the entire movie, and gripping the whole way through. And Smaug scenes will take your breath away.

Hey OB. Do you think this year's draft will be weaker then most? Is it strong in a certain position... Defense... Goalie... Forward.

The action thing is a bit of a lie. Its more of an adventure than action movie, although there are a few scenes.

Its just more than anything, a wonderful story. If you are a fan of Tolkien, be prepared to have your breath taken away. The characters are really well developed, setting the movie up for the final one next tear. Smaug, for basically just being computer animation, becomes a really amazing character. I was really surprised with that.

The only knock I may have, is that Jackson uses that fancy cinematic style to make the effects even more special, but it at times leaves the movie feeling like a video game, and not as realistic. Never was a fan of that money making scam being 3D, but those are minor things.

Did the NHL see Versteeg's numbers here in Philly?

He totally had that cross check coming to him.

I am a huge Tolkein fan. At least LOTR and Hobbit. Could never get into any of the other works. But read each for those books a good 4 time each.

Let me ask you a question. I know they are working the white counsil and necromancer into the movies more then they did in the books. Does that happen in this movie, or are we going to see that in the next one with the battle of the 5 armies?
