Hmm.. I'm sure my 10 posts in 3 months next to your 5000+ posts keeps my argument valid. But at least you can manage posts in between all that vagina you're bound to be swimming in. Chicks totally dig bandwidth.
You would be excited about phase 5. It involves my balls slamming against your chin.

You're on the internet insulting people for being on the internet. I guess you win the internet.
Excellent ending. Goes great with your maturity angle. |

I have a theory on Phaneuf.
I believe Dion tried to get himself suspended and picked the hardest portion of the schedule to make himself appear more valuable to the team.
A disgusting tactic used by Dion. |

Not making an unneccessary signing in CLarkson was a start. He brought in 2 million in goaltending when you factor in retained salary. They could have locked up last years team long term. I always view it simply - are they better then last year after adding the salary they did. I don't think so. The only good move this summer was Bolland, the rest were fixing problems that didn't exist (the d should have been dealt with), which in a cap world burries teams. - aminnes
I thought the Clarkson signing was necessary. We had a need of a power forward type of player and the only option was to over pay. That said, I also liked the Bernier trade. Im not stressed over the retained salary. I don't like it, but it's really not a big deal moving forward. I think they are a better team, but we really haven't seen much of this team healthy/suspensionless like it was last year. |

Those teams also project well. So instead of bridge deals like subban got and now will get 8 million they sign guys to 4-5 million dollar long term deals like JVR making accurate projections that they will be good players. Chicago also did this with their d. Good gms make good projections, bad ones dont. So as much as its drafting its also knowing the game and players . Kessel isnt much overpaid. But he is by a million for sure, if he was a all around great player then no, but he isn't overpaid like some others thats for sure. - aminnes
If you're referring to Duncan Keith, I hope you realize that his deal was signed before the cap on contract length was introduced.
Guys like Suter and Keith skew the average downwards because they have contracts that are illegal today. |

Unless Dion figures the Leafs have no hope in hell of winning the next couple of games & he wants a break. |

There is a few former Leaf GM's I'd like to smack. I'm pissed off at Fletcher for trading Steen but the man is too old to smack. But JFJ man I'd so love to punch him out for trading Tuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuukkaaaaaa |
