Thing is Bruce, Franson is the only one producing on the PP, if you lose that then we have to rely heavily on Rielly and Gardiner.

Having said that, 3 million plus for Franson and we might have another Gunnarsson situation.

no no.. thats what i mean

Franson:
Even strength / bottom pairing
PP: paired with Dion on the top unit

Another bright spot, that was the best I've seen Kulimen play in years.

That "third line" was buzzing all night, Holland needs to play more.

This week at the NHL board of governors meetings in Pebble Beach, Calif., the Leafs were the only club that declined to approve the landmark $5.2-billion television and digital rights deal between the 30-team NHL and Rogers Communications that stunned the hockey world late last month.
Multiple sources confirmed that the vote was 29-0 in favour of approving the 12-year agreement. The Leafs, represented by Maple Leaf Sports and Entertainment chairman Larry Tanenbaum and CEO Tim Leiweke, shocked the meeting by abstaining from the vote.

So 1 year ago the Leafs had very close to the same record...and you've had much better goaltending this year. Hmmmmm!

What they should have done is ripped the league a new one on non suspensions and the refs.

That doesn't surprise me.

Rogers is happy, but Bell sure isn't.

Why do they keep playing Ranger? I'd take any one of the current Marlies d-men over him at this point. He costs us at least one game a week. It's impossible.

On the bright side, Holland looked great.

I think refs should start getting suspensions for sucking. Last night down by 2 and the ref calls a penalty with 13 seconds left. Kadri got a nice cross check to the back as well.

I was just looking for reasons to complain because of the rest of season.

Give them 2 games for "You can't do that" ((frank)in bush league reffing)

They do. Refs are disciplined all the time , just league has an agreement to not make it a story. Media doesn'tt cover it, nor should they.

I can't believe Phaneuf got 2 games and Seidenberg walked free without even a phone call.

I really (frank)ing hate Shanahan right now.

No, they should be held accountable just like the players, GM's and coaches by the league, when you embarrass them by their performance, they will get the message as will their fellow refs.

I kinda knew it would be a terrible signing. I mean they bought out Tucker at 3 mil... Why would you sign Clarkson for DOUBLE?
