Weber will be a dominant force for Team Canada at the Olympics.

Phaneuf's name hasn't even been joked about. Non discussion bud.

- blarneylad

I feel like I'm just rehashing things for people who keep tuning unto the discussion late, but the Olympic committee is taking international ice into consideration. On NHL ice this year, he has been a top 10 defender.

All I know is that if his father didn't finish so soon, we wouldn't be having this discussion....

Nice. Let's use the mini season PK freaking subban won the Norris as a measuring stick.

- joel878

PK Subban deserved consideration, did he not? It was a two horse race between him and Suter.

You seem to like Dion A LOT

Which is fine.

But dont expect to convince anyone he's as good as YOU seem to think he is.

Leafs should keep D-train. at 6-7 over a shorter term 5-6 yrs imo.

The guy is a top pairing dman. I'd love to have him complimenting Subban for the habs no doubt.

But he simply isn't in the same breath as Weber or Suter, Keith etc.

Just for fun... Check webers stats with Suter, then without.

So Beauchemin is wayyyyy better than both.
- robin_steele264

Last year, he certainly was.

I suppose if he maintained that level long enough, we'd have to consider it - much the same way that we have to consider Phaneuf's career upside and the fact that he's playing even better this year.

Weber isn't in the same breath as Weber. Not the Weber people have in their minds, anyway.

The Weber who played with Suter.

Leafs are head of both their teams in the standings despite losing 6 of 8

Take another swing, you're 0 for 2 so far. Try not to whiff again

I just give the cold, hard facts.

What people choose to do with them is their business. I'm not here to convert unbelievers.

In a battle between grammar Nazis and real ones, who would most people support?

I say this as somebody sympathetic to grammar sticklers.
