His first season as a plus player for the leafs. Quick everybody break the bank on this guy he is our saviour. The guy has been mediocre as a leaf. He is having a good start this season yes. He needs more than 31 games to prove he is a 7 mil guy.

Surer and Weber both signed before the restrictions on contract length.

Surer would undoubtedly be getting more today if he didn't have a deal designed to circumvent the cap.
