The NHL is coming out of the woodwork to attack Wang and Co. This is beyond a couple of upset fans on Hockeybuzz or IPB. - ses111
They've always sneered and made jokes but this is bordering on negligence. Good for the press and the NHL to finally take notice of this mess. It can only help us in the long run. |

Right because you cannot pass it off on just fans ranting. The hockey people are noticing as well and are not buying the excuses. |

Press is starting to come around these days in all aspects as far as I'm concerned. Still hate them for the most part none the less. |

Oh Doctor! Katie may need to forget about that Christmas card. Katie may need to be at the next Wolfpack meeting. - ses111
We should get her to come on this site for a few minutes and we can ask her questions. |

Strang is wrong. Capuano is a major problem. I don't feel like making the long case to support that yet again. Just trust me. |

She admits he's not the ideal coach and things could be better with someone else. But she's completely right in thinking that no coach is going to turn a team with inexperienced goaltending, atrocious defensemen, and a complete lack of secondary scoring, into a winner. |

I believe an experienced NHL coach could turn this team around and possibly make them squeak into the playoffs. Someone like Terry Murray (someone mentioned him before) or Jaques LeMaire (sp), who would institute a defense first style, could work wonders (I speculate). |

A defense-first style isn't going to do a thing if you don't have players that can play defense.
We aren't going to win with Lubo out all season and Carkner as a regular in the lineup. Poulin has generally played well but he's not going to steal games every night like he did last night.
I'm not a fan of Strait but he's a better defenseman than Carkner. Not going to win with this roster regardless of who is behind the bench. I want Capuano fired but it's not going to make a huge difference. |

Virtually this same lineup played damn good hockey, with plenty of secondary scoring, for a good stretch last season. Maybe the team's not quite as good as it played late last season and into the playoffs. But it's not as bad as it's playing now. This team's far more consistent and still at least in the hunt with a better coach. |

Literally half of the defensemen we went to the playoffs with last year have either been out almost the entire season or are no longer with the team.
Nielsen has regressed to the mean after a hot start this year. Bailey sucks, a lot. Grabner isn't good. McDonald is filler. The offense has flatlined, the defense is injury-riddled and sub-par. There is some hope in the goaltending, but not much. Lavy or anyone else isn't going to change all that. A new coach certainly would make us better, but not significantly. |

I have no idea how much better we would be with a new coach, but I'd love to find out. Just seems very wrong that so far, no one except for PMB has had to pay the price. |

Friends Strome was drafted as a center has played every game at center... He will play center until he proves he can't. Their is no reason to move him to the wing. - Dan Petriw

Hmmmmm...so then why move PMB, a winger, down rather than Regin, a center with a two way contract? - keaner17
Because PMB sucks & atleast Regin can tie his own skates.

Here's my issue......snow thought getting Tavares a top tier winger (vanek) was a priority, yet he signed Bouchard in the offseason. Clearly he brought in Bouchard to play with Tavares. That lasted for three games and now he's stuck with a western conference winger with concussion history, who can't and won't play physical. There was absolutely no need to sign this guy.....and it screams panic. Going into this season without replacing streit is unacceptable and reason enough to fire Garth. I do not believe there were no deals to be made to acquire a top dman. - kindlyrick
He didnt have to replace Streit in the off season because Viz was already here to replace him.

Oh I want Cappy fired 3 weeks ago. I just don't think he's the only issue. This organization has issues from top to bottom. He's just a cog in the wheel. |

Obviously our defense in struggling, but if the forwards had a defense first mentality, I think we have more wins. We have the offensive power to counter-attack. |

I guarantee that if this team is forced to play defense by someone who doesn't coddle them, they'd be light years better than they are, with the same crappy defensemen. |
